The Martin County School District held its oath of office ceremony for Superintendent Michael Maine this afternoon. Superintendent Maine’s family joined school district staff for the occasion, allowing many of the employees in attendance the opportunity to meet and greet while enjoying delicious refreshments provided by our Food & Nutrition Services team. The Martin County School Board named Mr. Maine the Martin County School District’s Superintendent of Schools in April 2023, approving a four-year initial employment contract as part of the measure. #ALLINMartin👊

🚲RIDING IN STYLE🚲 Ride Your Bike to School Day at Crystal Lake Elementary School was a success! On May 17, students and families rode their bikes, scooters, skates, or even just walked to school with the help of Deputy Franklin and the Martin County Sheriff's Office. 🍽NOURISHING ALL STUDENTS FOR SUCCESS🍽 Can you believe summer is just around the corner?! During the Summer Break, the Martin County School District will continue to nourish all students for success! Our Food & Nutrition Services Department will continue to offer free meals to children aged 18 and under during the summer months with no income restrictions. 🎲GAME CHANGERS🎲 Five Martin County School District students headed to the AGLOA National Tournament in Orlando this past weekend! In Academic Games, students try to outthink each other in the areas of mathematics, language arts, and social studies. Murray Middle School 6th grade students Daphne Dupuis, Deven Chauhan and Landon Kodare, along with Crystal Lake Elementary School 5th grader Lew Barski and Palm City Elementary 5th grader Brian Wang, did an amazing job competing amongst the country’s smartest kids.
