February is Black History Month, in which we celebrate the accomplishments and contributions African Americans have made for our society.

First graders wrapped up ELA Benchmark Unit 6: Technology at Work. As part of their Inquiry Project, the students created robots that could improve the way they live or do work.

Today is National Puzzle Day! Building puzzles together is so much fun with friends and family!

Celebrate Literacy Week is almost a wrap and our families have loved being on campus this week to read outside with their child. Not even cold and rain can stop us from enjoying a good book📚Thank you parents for helping to foster the love of reading❤️📚❤️

Mrs. Robinson has a kind and generous heart. She is ALWAYS willing to go above and beyond for others. She is such a great colleague to work alongside of, role model to admire, and a wealth of knowledge in the classroom. I am so lucky to know her. I am grateful for Mrs. Robinson because she is supportive, inspiring, and just an-all-around amazing person to work with and have as a friend. I admire her dedication to her students.

It was an honor this evening to celebrate the FAWE School Related Employee of the Year, Mrs. Pennie Hall. We are #FAWEPROUD💚💙

FAWE Families- pop a bag of popcorn and enjoy spending time with family tonight!

🕊️I HAVE A DREAM🕊️
As is their annual tradition, Felix A. Williams Elementary School students shared their hopes and dreams for the future in honor of #MLKDay.
Out of the mouths of babes...inspiration happens here.

Mrs. Dougherty brings an outstanding amount of energy, creativity, passion, organization, problem solving and laugher to the RA team. She has the amazing ability to think outside the box, plan big, and never look back. Her care and concern for her teammates and colleagues is what I admire most about her.

Just a reminder, families -
There will be no school for students on Friday, January 14 (Teacher Work Day) and Monday, January 17 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day). Classes will resume Tuesday, January 18.
