🎉VOTE NOW!🎉

Join us in celebrating Felix A. Williams Elementary’s Mrs. Colleen Dougherty, who was nominated at this week’s TCPalm Teacher of the Week! 🎉💙💚

As the music teacher at FAWE, Mrs. Dougherty instills a passion for music and performing in her students. Here’s what her nominator shared: "Mrs. Daughterty is inspiring our children to play instruments, sing and enjoy the music. Her entire family is so musical and encouraging to try new things in life and experiment with children’s many talents. My oldest son loved to play the recorder at Felix A. Williams Elementary. Now he is in seventh grade and he joined band at SMS and was playing trumpet for two years. We appreciate all our teachers do for their students!"

➡️ Vote for her today and every day through Friday, February 20, at noon: bit.ly/4rnct1g

A huge thank you to the Cox Science Center for bringing this incredible experience to our students. Their curiosity was glowing brighter than the stars! 💫

✨I HAVE A DREAM✨

"I have a dream...that children are allowed to go to school and learn how to read and write."
"I have a dream...that there is peace everywhere in the world."
"I have a dream...that everyone in the world has food, water, and a family that cares about them."

Out of the mouths of babes… 🫶
Dreams inspired by a great dreamer, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

A special tradition at Felix A. Williams Elementary that reminds us just how hopeful the future can be, and how powerful young voices truly are.
