โ˜€๏ธ SOLAR ECLIPSE SAFETY โ˜€๏ธ Reminder: At approximately 1:48 p.m., Martin County will begin to experience a partial solar eclipse. This happens when the moon passes directly between Earth and the sun, momentarily casting a shadow and blocking the sun's light. Martin County will not experience a "totality" like other parts of the country and can expect to see approximately 51% coverage of the sun. It is NEVER safe to look directly into the sun with the naked eye. For more information on how to view the solar eclipse next week, please visit: https://www.martinschools.org/article/1532351
