🦈 Day Two of Our Feeder School Tours = Leadership in Action! 🦈 Today, we returned with this time Palm City Elementary, and our current sixth- and seventh-grade Shark scholars truly rose to the occasion! These student leaders stepped up and ensured that everyone was in the right place at the right time, moving through transitions smoothly and staying together as one team. Their responsibility, leadership, and care for our future Sharks made today a success—and I couldn’t be more proud of the work these individuals did. This is what it looks like when students lead with confidence and pride. Way to go, Sharks! 🌟🦈💙

🐾➡️🦈 From Wildcats to Sharks in the Making! 🦈➡️🐾 Today, our Palm City Elementary Wildcats began to turn and see what their future will look like! During their visit to the Shark Tank, students explored core and elective classes, transitioned alongside our Sharks, and navigated our campus waters just like true middle schoolers. This authentic transition experience—seeing the full campus in action and what life as a Shark is really like—sets our future Wildcats up for long‑term success. We’re excited to welcome them back soon as they continue their journey toward becoming confident, capable Sharks ready to thrive! The future is bright, and our waters are ready for them! 🌊🦈💙 Palm City Elementary School

Today, 10 of our incredible 8th grade Shark Scholars truly led the way at Bessey Creek Elementary, and I couldn’t be more proud. These students stepped up with confidence, initiative, and heart—building relationships, sparking conversations, and serving as outstanding role models for our younger learners. They didn’t just lead activities… they created connections, showed empathy, and represented Hidden Oaks Middle School with excellence. As principal, moments like this remind me why I’m so proud to lead this school. These 10 scholars are just a small glimpse of the spectacular students we have at HOMS, and our future is bright because of leaders like them. Way to go, Sharks! 🦈👏💙

🧠🔬 Today, our sixth grade Science Sharks took learning to the next level! 🔬🧠 Our scholars combined classroom learning with the incredible expertise of the FAU Brain Lab, diving deep into hands-on dissection experiences. This authentic learning opportunity gave students practical knowledge about animal anatomy and the structure and function of different areas of the brain—all through meaningful, engaging exploration. Experiences like this spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and bring science to life in powerful ways. A huge thank you to the FAU Brain Lab for an amazing partnership and for providing such a memorable experience for our sixth grade Shark scholars. 🦈✨ Last night, the Shark Tank was buzzing with future scholars! ✨🦈 We were thrilled to welcome our current fifth-grade students and their families to Hidden Oaks Middle School for an exciting evening of exploration and connection. Our future Sharks enjoyed a warm welcome from the drum line, cheerleaders, NJHS/AVID students prior to hearing from administration, listened to our talented Bella Voce and band perform, met club sponsors, toured the future 6th‑grade hallways, and even heard directly from some of our amazing students about life at HOMS. The night was filled with excitement, joy, smiles, laughter, and eager anticipation for what’s ahead. The energy in the building was incredible—and it’s clear that the future is bright at Hidden Oaks Middle School! 🩵🦈 We can’t wait to welcome these sharks officially in August.
