Kids Heart Challenge is here! Our students are learning how to keep their hearts and brains healthy, and raising funds to help kids with special hearts.

We’re asking all families to sign up and complete Finn’s Mission, where they will learn Hands-Only CPR and the warning signs of a stroke. All students who sign up will receive a wristband.

PLUS, students who raise $100.00 or more in donations will get entered into a drawing to win a boardgame!

Here’s how you can help:

Sign Up Today or download the AHA Schools app.
Complete Finn’s Mission: Share with family and friends through social media, text and/or email so they too can learn the warning signs of stroke and Hands-Only CPR.

Math + games = fourth grade fun! 🎲➗ We’re grateful for the exciting math games that keep our learners engaged and smiling—generously donated by the Education Foundation of Martin County and the amazing people at Community Chest. We’re also giving a special shout-out to Humphrey, who’s living in each of our classrooms as part of our One Book, One School reading adventure!

Elevate Eagles with Evening Reading!

📚✨ Let’s celebrate the power of books and the bright futures they help create! ✨📚

I recently came across a beautiful reminder from the Guardian:
“Books lead to a richer life. They also lead to a more successful life, as a two-decade-long study showed. Kids who lived with books in their home – as few as 20 – benefitted significantly over those who didn’t, in areas like academic success, vocabulary development and job attainment.”

How incredible is that? Just 20 books can help open doors, spark curiosity, and build confidence. 🌟

And the best part — building a home library doesn’t have to be expensive!

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library offers free books to children

Thrift stores and garage sales are treasure troves

School give‑aways and library sales make it easy to grow a collection on any budget

Every story added to a child’s world is a gift that keeps giving. ❤️

If you’d like help finding resources or getting started, please reach out to me — Mrs. Parrilli. I’m always happy to support this wonderful endeavor. 🌈📖

Si está aprendiendo inglés y/o necesita ayuda con la lectura, por favor comuníquese con la Biblioteca Pública del Condado de Martin.
