August 26th @ 5:30 is "A Walk in My Student's Shoes" Night. This is our annual Curriculum Night led by our AMAZING Related Arts team.
You have to meet our team!
These are the classes our students LOVE talking about when you ask about their day. We hope to see you there. We have a schedule planned so that you will travel to each of our areas: Art, Music, PE, and Media!
💙🦅

Book Check Out has Started!!!
I am so excited that the students at HSE are excited for book check out! Students have been enjoying the wonderful place that is the HSE Library Media Center. All are welcome!
Parents, please remember that students may not check out a book unless you signed the form stating that you allow your child to check out books from our Media Center. There was a space on your registration papers or your Parent FOCUS Portal to indicate your preference. If you missed that and need a "Media Permissions Form" form, please contact me, Mrs. Parrilli, in the media center and I will send one home with your child. 772-218-1540 ext 42107

Happy First Day of School!
We were thrilled to welcome back all of our Eagles. Mr. Maine visited campus to wish us well on our journey to success this school year. Thank you to our ❤️🐾 SFHS athletes who were present in carline and walked our littles to their classrooms and carried in their supplies too. Overall, amazing first day!

As we prepare for a smooth start and end to each school day, please review our carline procedures to help keep our Eagles safe and our traffic flowing efficiently!
ARRIVAL Procedures:
As you enter carline, please use the ZIPPER method to blend the two lanes into one at the first curve. Take turns zippering in by allowing one car from each line to form a single line.
✅ BACK Car Line: For ALL Students): Opens at 7:10AM. No student may be dropped off before this time.
NO ENTRY in our BUS LOOP until after 7:35 or when final bus has departed.
DISMISSAL Procedures: ALL families will use the BACK car line for dismissal.
✅ Display car sign (will be given out the first three days of school) from review mirror to ensure staff can gather your child(ren).
✅ Back gate will open at 1:40. Use zipper method to create a single line. Students will begin entering vehicles at 2 PM.
✅ NO CARS in the front of school from 1:40 to 2:20 due to busses.
If a student is to be picked up early, please do so BEFORE 1:30 PM. Extended Day does not allow pick up to begin until 2:30 PM.
Thank you for helping us create a safe and welcoming start and end to each day at Hobe Sound Elementary.

💙Welcome to HSE, Ms. Baza!

The first day of school is almost here, and now’s a great time to remind your student about the District’s cell phone and wireless device policy and avoid an unexpected trip to campus to retrieve a confiscated device. 😅
ℹ️ During school hours, cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, and other wireless tech must be off and out of sight.
Here’s what families should know:
📲 Devices that are seen or used during the day will be confiscated.
📲 Only a parent or guardian can pick them up, and only at a time set by school staff.
📲 Repeated offenses constitute insubordination and may result in suspension.
Need to contact your child? Call the school office—we’ll make sure they get the message promptly.
Thanks for helping us create a focused, distraction-free learning environment. Let’s start the year strong, staying present and connected in all the right ways!

August 1st was an amazing first day back with our HSE team! We kicked things off with a delicious breakfast—one big team, all the humans—thanks to our incredible PTA! 💙🤍
After reflecting on last year’s wins and lessons, we set our sights on 25-26 with a powerful field trip through the neighborhoods we serve. From our northernmost bus stop to the southern edge, we saw our mission in action—smiles, waves, and even hugs from the students we’re here for. 🚌
We are student focused and data aware.
📊 Belief is contagious.
🧠 “Without data, you’re just another human with an opinion.”
