We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of the Jupiter Island Garden Club as we celebrate an amazing 40-year milestone of enriching opportunities for our students! 🌿💚
This year’s creative theme, “Leapin’ Lizards,” inspired our students to design beautiful torn paper collages while deepening their understanding of the Everglades: its wildlife, flora, and unique ecosystem. 🌎🐊🌿 With the help of dedicated volunteers, our art room truly came to life!
Families joined us this past week to celebrate, and our award-winning artists were recognized with special lizard and iguana stuffed animals 🦎💚 these will be keepsakes that are sure to be treasured for years to come.
Stay tuned for an upcoming community invitation to view our students’ artwork on display at the Bailey Gallery right here in Hobe Sound—an exciting opportunity to showcase their incredible talent! 🖼️✨

Using balloons, cardboard tubes, popsicle sticks, cotton balls, and tape, students designed and built their own versions of the Artemis rocket. To make it even more fun, their spacecraft were “manned” by some familiar faces—George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Thomas Jefferson even joined the mission!
The room was filled with creativity, problem-solving, and lots of laughter as students tested ideas and brought their designs to life. It was one of those days where learning felt like an adventure.
Who knows—we may have just sparked the next generation of aeronautical engineers right here at Hobe Sound Elementary!
Such a great day of learning and fun all around.

⏰ April Tardy Challenge
Let’s focus on being on time this month as we kick off our April Tardy Challenge!

We are proud to recognize our outstanding March Student MVPs—our Eagles who consistently demonstrate effort, leadership, and commitment to meeting our N.E.S.T. expectations each and every day!
Each classroom selected one student who truly stands out, and these incredible learners were celebrated with a certificate to take home 📜 and a special game charm for their backpacks 🎮 and today they each sat in our MVP section of the cafe on the stage with the peer of their choice for lunch too!✨
Their dedication, positive choices, and perseverance help make HSE a stronger school community for all.
👏 Join us in celebrating these hardworking students and the example they set for others. Way to soar, Eagles! 🦅💙

Fresh, local, and full of flavor! 🍅
This week, our cafeterias are celebrating Farm to School Week with delicious, Florida-grown products—like crisp cucumbers, juicy grape tomatoes, sweet peppers, red bliss potatoes, and refreshing Florida milk.
It’s a great way for students to enjoy nutritious meals while learning what grows in their community! 🥔🥒

🚂✨ Learning came to life for our 4th Grade Eagles at Hobe Sound Elementary! ✨🚂
Our students enjoyed an exciting and educational visit from guest speaker Mr. Harrington of the local Railroad Club!
Through this engaging presentation, students explored the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad 🇺🇸 and its role in shaping the growth of our country. They also deepened their understanding of the contributions of Chinese immigrants, the unfair treatment they faced, and the impact on Native American communities.
This meaningful experience connected directly to learning in our Benchmark reading curriculum 📚, helping students make real-world connections and strengthen their understanding.
Our Eagles came prepared with thoughtful questions and actively participated in rich discussions that showcased their curiosity, critical thinking, and love of learning! 🦅💭
Thank you, Mr. Harrington, for inspiring our students and making history come alive!

Let’s end the school year strong with fun and motivating challenges focused on being present and on time!
⏰🔔April will kick off our Tardy Reduction Challenge! When a class has zero tardies for the day, they will earn a star to proudly display on their classroom door. Stars will be tracked all month, and the class with the most stars by April 30 will earn a popcorn party! 🍿⭐
In May, we’ll continue the momentum with an exciting Attendance Challenge, celebrating students and families for consistent healthy attendance as we close out the year.
Thank you for partnering with us to support student success—we can’t wait to see those doors shining with stars!

Sometimes it’s the simple things that make the biggest difference.
A consistent routine, a little planning ahead, and staying connected with your child’s school can help set the tone for a strong day of learning.
Those small habits add up—together, let's help students show up On Time, go All In, and keep the momentum going all the way to an Unstoppable fourth quarter!
