Last Thursday was the PTA general meeting and a family paint night with our own art teacher, Ms. Stuart. Everyone had a great time doing Ocean silhouette scenes. See photos.

Today Ms. Lucky and Ms. Rommel's class learned all about worms.  We are working on the letter Ww so we took the opportunity to investigate worms!  We learned many facts about worms but the one that really resonated with the students was, they have NO eyes, ears, or noses, only a mouth!

🎉CELEBRATING ACADEMIC SUCCESS🎉 The board room was full Tuesday night as Superintendent Michael Maine and our School Board honored the amazing achievements of our Odyssey of the Mind teams who advanced to State after an incredible showing at the Palms Regional Competition! Superintendent Maine was also surprised with the prestigious Omer Award, recognizing his leadership and support for Odyssey of the Mind across our District. Out of 8 counties, Martin County leads the way in championing this powerful academic program! Odyssey of the Mind teaches students essential life skills like collaboration, budgeting, time management, public speaking, and creative thinking. It’s where future leaders are made! 🏆Odyssey of the Mind MCSD recognition event was celebrated tonight at our school board meeting. Team HSE - we are over the 🌙 proud of your hard work! 💙🤍🦅 Mr. Maine challenged the six teams tonight for us to compete at Worlds next year. Challenge accepted! 👏

✨🦅 Congratulations to our very own, grade 3️⃣ Math daily challenge winner, Yuri. During Math Spirit Week, all students and teachers across our district, were invited to complete daily math challenges. Yuri won for ALL of grade 3! 💙🤍🦅🎉🥳

HSE Odyssey of the Mind team competed in the state competition this weekend in Orlando. Their performance was strong and our team felt they had improved since regionals! 💙🤍 We are incredibly proud of their hard work.
