Please see October’s FFVP calendar and nutrition nibbles to share with your students. I hope we began the year with everyone enjoying the wide variety of produce for September. Going forward we serve snack items Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays most weeks. With the exception of a Monday holiday, in that case we will serve Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. 📏⚖️ and using measurement tools to discover the length and weight of different items.

👩🏫 Mrs. Evans’ Kindergarten Class has been busy learning and growing!
🌟 Exploring the 5️⃣ senses in a hands-on lab,
📚 partnering with 5th grade buddies for reading, and
🔤 traveling through centers to practice matching sounds with letters.

Also, look for a contact card for families to complete and return to the classroom teacher, if you choose. PTA will be supporting room parents and they hope to help parents to connect with one another by creating a room directory, should you choose to participate.

Hobe Sound Elementary was grateful to attend the State of the District breakfast this morning to support the partnerships between our Martin County School District, the Education Foundation of Martin County, and our business partners in education.
HSE's special guest was Mrs. Kim Nash from Almar Jackson Pools, Inc. Almar Jackson Pools, Inc. is one of our business partners who supports our HSE PTA as well as has helped our school directly by adopting many of our classrooms across campus this school year.
