🚀✨ HSE 4th Grade Eagles are a part of history! ✨🚀

Our students were invited to contribute to a Time Capsule in honor of The Apollo School’s 100th Anniversary! 🎉 They reflected on what life and learning is like in 2025, imagining what students in 2075 might think when it’s opened 50 years from now! 📚💫

This Grand Centennial Celebration takes place Sunday, October 19th at 4 PM 🕓 at 9141 SE Apollo Street. Families are welcome to join our community partners and honor this local historical school! 🎈🎶🎂

🧪✨ Science was bubbling in 4th grade this week!

In Ms. Hasting’s lab, students became potion makers as they explored “mystery solutions” and “mystery powders” to create exciting chemical reactions! 💥 Through this fun experiment, they learned how to explain the difference between an experiment and other types of scientific investigations (Science Standard 1.2). 🔬👩‍🔬

Hello Hobe Sound! It’s that time of the year to celebrate National School Lunch Week! October 13-17th! This year’s theme is “Taste the World: Your School Lunch Passport”. Why this theme? Your School Lunch Passport was chosen to inspire curiosity, cultural appreciation and adventure through food. By featuring international cuisines and flavors, this theme encourages students to explore new tastes and traditions, making school meals exciting and engaging. It celebrates the diversity of cultures both within our schools and around the globe. We will have related music going on all week, prizes, activity sheets and much more. Please see a little history of National School Lunch Week! See flyer for details.

🎉Congratulations to Ms. Dolan!

STRONG ATTENDANCE = STRONG LEARNING 💪🍎

When students are in class every day, they gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed.

Attendance always matters, but October 6-10 is especially important. That's the week the state takes its enrollment snapshot to decide school funding for the year.

✅ Students in class = accurate snapshot = the right funding to support stronger schools in our A-rated District and better opportunities for our kids.

Let's work together to make sure our students are here next week—it makes a difference for everyone.
