Our students were invited to contribute to a Time Capsule in honor of The Apollo School’s 100th Anniversary! 🎉 They reflected on what life and learning is like in 2025, imagining what students in 2075 might think when it’s opened 50 years from now! 📚💫
This Grand Centennial Celebration takes place Sunday, October 19th at 4 PM 🕓 at 9141 SE Apollo Street. Families are welcome to join our community partners and honor this local historical school! 🎈🎶🎂

💙💛🧡💗 Anti-Bullying Week starts Monday, October 20th! 💗🧡💛💙
While every day is Anti-Bullying Day at HSE, next week we’ll shine an extra spotlight on it! 💪 Our Eagles will be showing off their Character Counts traits through colorful spirit days that help promote kindness, respect, and inclusion. 🦅✨
👕 Here’s the plan:
💛 Monday: Wear YELLOW for Respect
💙 Tuesday: Wear BLUE for Trustworthiness
🧡 Wednesday: Wear ORANGE for Fairness
📸 Thursday: Photo Day! Dress as you’d like for your picture, following Martin County dress code.
💗 Friday: Wear PINK for Caring
Let’s stand together against bullying and show that Eagles lift each other up! 💪

Wednesday’s highlight? 😎🧳 Dress as a Tacky Tourist Day! One lucky traveler even won a pepperoni pizza blanket 🍕🧺 for showing the most spirit!
We loved seeing all the enthusiasm, creativity, and school pride! 💙

UPDATE: The event at Indiantown Middle School has been canceled. Thank you for your understanding.

National School Lunch Week sponsored a "Tacky Tourist Day" on Wednesday. There were many "tacky tourists" at HSE! These two were caught in the cafeteria.

Join us for a delicious way to support Hobe Sound Elementary!
📅 Date: Thursday 10/16
🕓 Time: 2 - 8 PM
📍 Location: Chick-fil-A Stuart Location
When you order using the ap, be sure to say the code word “EAGLES” 🦅 or say HSE at checkout , and a percentage of your purchase will be donated back to HSE!
Your order helps us celebrate our amazing students and staff all year long! 💙
We can’t wait to see our HSE family there — let’s show our Eagle pride and make this night a huge success!

In Ms. Hasting’s lab, students became potion makers as they explored “mystery solutions” and “mystery powders” to create exciting chemical reactions! 💥 Through this fun experiment, they learned how to explain the difference between an experiment and other types of scientific investigations (Science Standard 1.2). 🔬👩🔬

On Thursday, our students amazed us with their math skills — mastering place value, regrouping, and even teaching their partners step-by-step how to solve double-digit addition problems! ❤️
We love seeing our Eagles learn by explaining their thinking and helping one another soar in math! 🦅➕💡

🌍💙🦅 What an incredible night at Hobe Sound Elementary!
Our 2025 Multi-Cultural Night was a huge success — a true celebration of cultures, creativity, and community! 🎉
A big thank you to our amazing team leads — Ms. Gwen, Mrs. Malott, Mrs. Waterman, Mrs. Stuart, and Mr. Voss — along with every teacher and staff member who guided students through meaningful learning experiences and helped bring these beautiful projects to life. 🙌✨

On Wednesdays, we wear pink during Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💞
Students, staff, and families—join us in showing support and spreading awareness by wearing pink each Wednesday throughout October. Together, we honor survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand with those currently facing breast cancer. Let’s fill our schools with love, hope, and a sea of pink this month. 💗

We are thankful and thrilled that our local student led group has selected Ms. Dolan as this month’s educator of the month for HSE.
Thank you to every student, parent, and community who helped through voting.

When students are in class every day, they gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to succeed.
Attendance always matters, but October 6-10 is especially important. That's the week the state takes its enrollment snapshot to decide school funding for the year.
✅ Students in class = accurate snapshot = the right funding to support stronger schools in our A-rated District and better opportunities for our kids.
Let's work together to make sure our students are here next week—it makes a difference for everyone.
