We have talented potters at JBE! Staff created coiled and pinched pottery at the our Holiday Clay Cafe' in December. They turned out beautiful, and students were so inspired when they saw them!











Mrs. McIntyre's First Graders had a great time during Literacy week. We enjoyed reading with Mrs. Madalena's class and reading outside!

Mrs. Ryan's Kindergarteners and Mrs. Higgins' 3rd graders loved 🥰 reading together to celebrate Literacy Week!










🐝STELLAR SPELLERS SHINE🐝
The Martin County School District held the 58th Annual Lillian A. Dassori Elementary Spelling Bee last night at Martin County High School.
Three students from each of the elementary schools in the District participated in 10 rounds of competition, taking on challenging words such as "eclectic," "sudsy," and "anaconda."
Felix A. Williams Elementary 4th-grade student Rafael Pedrosa was named Spelling Bee Champion, acing the winning word "avocado."
Congratulations to all our stellar spellers and to the champion, Rafael!

We are STRONG 💪 readers in First Grade! Mrs Engel's class loved "Stop! Drop! And Read!" today for Literacy Week!

Mrs. Lodes' first grade astronomers created the different phases of the moon using Oreos! We love turning into scientists! 🧑🏻🔬👩🏼🔬





Mrs. Lodes' and Mrs. Vicat's class had a great time celebrating Literacy Week together by buddy reading! The first graders loved showing off their reading skills to their fourth grade buddies!

Keeley from Mrs Clark's 2nd grade class got to visit the book vending machine for earning 2 coins!


It was a beautiful day for the 40th Annual Russell Holloway Track Meet. Congratulations to all of our participants for a job well done and to our JBE students who won the 2024 Cheryl Hubbard Sportsmanship Award. We are so proud of you all!



Our JBE second-grade students made history come to life on Friday at the JBE Wax Museum. Students researched their historical figures and shared their learning with others by dressing in character and presenting their research to our museum visitors.
