Thank you to Mrs. Hauck and Mr. Riverav for representing JBE as Teacher of the Year and Employee of the Year! They were featured in Jensen Beach Neighbors Magazine in the fall.
It's all about hands-on learning in kindergarten. So why not teach life cycles and living things by hatching our chicks? Mrs. Boudreau’s Littles were so excited to hold them for the first time!
"No Music No Life" because Jazz Neon Blacklight Bebop Drum Glow party is too long of a title!
What better way to end Jazz Appreciation Month than with a blacklight glow party!
The week of April 29th, JBE music classes will be glowing, drumming, and doing some bebop moves to jazz. Remember to wear your neon colors the day you have music! Enjoy some photos from our last glow party.
Our fifth grade Math Olympics team did amazing today at the district competition. They won second place out of 12 elementary schools. Ethan Repass, Charlotte Pollen, Thomas Wallace, Barrett Morrow, and Alex Giang did a fantastic job representing JBE today with their coach Mrs. McNealy. We are so proud of their dedication and hard work. Thank you Mrs. McNealy for coaching the team. Way to go Vikings!

Equivalent Day for Math Week in Mrs. Lodes' first grade class!
As we are finishing up our Watch It Grow Unit, Mrs. Thibodeau and Ms. Cathy's JBE Mini-Vikings have been busy working on planting seeds of different types and watching them grow. They planted grass seed creating their own chia kid which they took home today! They were so proud of the plants.
Today we planted lima bean seeds in a ziploc baggie using a paper towel instead of soil. We will predict whether or not they will grow. This is a great way to watch the roots, stem, and leaves grow over time.
We will begin planting flower seeds tomorrow so that they can care for them and watch them grow over time and share them with someone special. They have already built a flower and used their writing skills to label the different parts of their flower. Such a hard working group of students who love hands on learning!
Mrs. Lodes' class had a surprise author visit from Breezy Moorhead today! She read her new book "Bigs: Let's Be Friends" and even shared a sneak peek of her next book with us! She also showed us how she wrote and illustrated her book! We were super excited to share with her the books we wrote as well that were inspired by her book! Thank you for visiting Ms. Bree! ❤️
2nd graders in Mrs Clark's class read a procedural text about origami. They worked with partners to follow the steps to create to a paper dog 🐶
