Great job, Demarius and Gabriel! 💙💛
Wendy Marsh, Beth Leahy, Debbie Robertson, and Tammy Benavidez — thank you for all that you do. You are the heart of our school. You are often the first smile families see and the steady support that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
From answering phones and supporting families to helping staff and managing countless details, your work truly makes a difference. JBE would not be the same without you.
Students, we would love your help continuing to celebrate them! If you see them, consider sharing a kind word or writing a quick note to let them know how much they are appreciated.
We are so grateful for each of you and all that you bring to our school community! 💙💛
Spring brought a beautiful learning moment to Mrs. McIntyre’s first grade class! 🌸💙💛
As part of their celebration of the season, students took time to observe how the trees have changed from fall to spring. They noticed how what once looked like bare sticks has transformed into beautiful blossoms.
Through their observations, students discovered how increased rainfall and changing seasons help bring nature back to life. It was a wonderful way to connect learning to the world around them! 🌼🌳

Their Mom Tori shares, "Being part of an active-duty Coast Guard family has so many benefits and challenges. Most importantly, it has shaped how deeply we value time together. Frequent moves, changing schedules or routines, and never truly knowing what comes next have taught us to stay flexible, support one another, and make the most of every moment—especially through little adventures whenever we can. We are incredibly proud of "Dada’s" sacrifice and service to his country and the example he sets every day. Our time at JBE has been especially meaningful, and we’re grateful for the strong friendships and supportive community we’ve built here, it truly feels like family."
At JBE, we are honored to support and celebrate our military families and the important role they play in our community.

Mrs. Curtner and Mrs. Monaghan's class launched into learning this week during our BRIGHT space themed stations—designing gravity defying models, stepping into the role of astronauts, comparing the distance between stars, and completing exciting mission challenges along the way! 🚀✨
Mrs. Conrad even joined in as a special guest!

Let’s keep the momentum going and show her how much our JBE community appreciates her! 🎉💙💛

At JBE, even our youngest learners are thinking big! 💙💛
Mrs. McIntyre’s first graders explored their ideas about space and had lots of opinions about their favorite parts! Students began with a “sentence scramble,” where they created a sentence, cut it apart, mixed it up, and then put it back together again.
They did an amazing job building complete sentences while strengthening their writing skills — all while having fun with their learning! 🚀✨
