🚨LAW ENFORCEMENT ALERT FOR FAMILIES🚨
The Martin County Sheriff's Office is actively enforcing laws about the operation of unregistered golf carts in our community, particularly near school campuses. Golf carts are only permitted on roads with a maximum 35 mph speed limit, and that’s only if they are titled, registered, insured and have all the appropriate safety measures to make them street legal. Please be mindful of these regulations, as deputies will issue citations for violations.

Third grade teachers were so excited to welcome their classes into the new JBE! What a fantastic day we had at our brand new school!

JBE Families,
Happy New Year! We are very excited to see students back and at the replacement school.
Please remember that staff, buses, and safety patrols entering prior to 6:55 am have a special pass to enter off of Cedar Street, while car line will run from Savannah Rd. past the old building and the community playground, curve to the right where you will see the drop off area. After drop off, you will circle around the field and continue straight out to Cedar Street. Please be aware that staff and buses will be entering this way so stay to the right on the way out. Walkers and bike riders can enter through Savannah Rd. and walk their bike down the path where there will be safety patrols and volunteers assisting them into the building. Walkers and bike riders can also opt to enter through the Leilani Gate and enter directly into the café for breakfast which will also be the holding area grades 2-5. The holding area for vpk, kindergarten, and first grade is the media center. Safety patrols and volunteers will be available to escort kindergarten and first grade students from the café to the media center. Teachers will pick up their classes in the holding areas and escort them to class.
During the day, the Savannah entrance is closed. The way to visit the front office is from Cedar Street only.
At the end of the day, car line will run again off of Savannah Rd
We are diligently working on making this a smooth transition so thank you for your patience with any bumps.
Please remember to send students to school with their laptops charged and their badges.
Staff is ready and excited to greet students tomorrow!
Jen Radcliff

Second graders in Mrs. Clark’s class worked to compare and contrast two texts by rereading “Stone Soup” and “Stone Garden”. They identified the similarities and differences in these texts by looking at the important tent details and creating a double bubble map.

2nd graders in Mrs. Clark’s class are preparing for the big move! Today we took a minute to say goodbye to our portable! 💙💛
