We were thrilled to welcome district staff, members of the Boys & Girls Club, and a very special guest, Patches, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office K9 Certified Therapy Dog! 🐾 Thank you to our amazing community partners for helping us start the day with positive connections, big smiles, and a reminder that character truly counts! Together, we’re building a school community where kindness, respect, and strong character shine every day! 🌟

🧡🧡 Our Rockets showed up in ORANGE today for Fairness & Unity Day! 🚀🧡 Picture day made it a little tricky to show off our orange, but our Rockets still made their presence known! 📸🧡 We’re proud of our scholars for standing together to take a stand against bullying and promote kindness, fairness, and unity.

A special thank you to our AVID Site Team Leaders, Mrs. McNair and Mrs. Hawkins, for hosting and leading this opportunity to learn from one another. Together, we celebrated the incredible work our Rocket teachers are doing to bring WICOR strategies to life and create meaningful learning experiences for our scholars. ➕➖ Math in Action! Our fifth-grade mathematicians in Mrs. Planker's class are putting their knowledge of integers to the test using Building Thinking Classrooms strategies! Students are collaborating, sharing their reasoning, and applying their understanding of integers and the order of operations to solve challenging problems. Through teamwork and critical thinking, they’re building confidence and making meaningful connections in math! 🧠✏️

🔬 Science in Action! Our fifth-grade scientists are investigating the properties of matter using scientific tools to measure, observe, and collect data. By applying their knowledge through hands-on investigations, students are strengthening their measurement skills, critical thinking, and understanding of the world around them. Learning is at its best when students get to explore, experiment, and discover! 🧪📏

From exciting circus-inspired meals each day to smiles, laughter, and fun surprises, our students have enjoyed a week full of delicious food and unforgettable memories! 🌭🍿🤡 A HUGE shout-out to our incredible cafeteria team! ❤️ These hardworking heroes show up every day to prepare meals, serve our students with care, and keep our Rockets fueled and ready to SOAR! 🚀 Their dedication, creativity, and commitment to our students make a difference every single day.
