📚✨ Math in Action in Ms. Solomon’s 5th Grade Class! ✨📚 Our mathematicians are working hard on subtracting decimals and using hands-on manipulatives to make their learning concrete and meaningful! Working in small groups allows us to meet students where they are, provide targeted support, and cater to their individual learning needs. We love seeing our students collaborate, problem-solve, and build confidence as mathematicians! 💙💛 Learning by doing = deeper understanding! 🚀📈

🌟 Learning, Laughing & Growing!🌟 Last week was full of hands-on learning and fun in our Pre-K ESE classroom! 💕 We explored feelings and emotions by creating our very own feeling faces and talking about how we can recognize and express different emotions. Our little mathematicians practiced important kindergarten math skills, including addition and finding the missing number in a sequence. 🔢➕ We also got to put our fine-motor and name-recognition skills to work! ✋✨ The children dug through playdough to find the letters in their names and then used them to create their very own name bracelets. 🔤💎 So much learning happened through play, creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on exploration! Sunday Announcements- August 30, 2026

✨ What a busy week of learning, exploring, creating, and growing! ✨ Our little learners were "line experts" as we practiced straight and curved lines, became letter detectives hunting for the letters in our names, and explored the letter "M"!🔤🕵️‍♀️ We strengthened those fine-motor muscles with glue, scissors, and salt painting, then used shapes to match, build, and create our own unique designs! ✂️🧂🔺🟢 We also worked on cooperative learning and teamwork, practicing how to play, share, help, and create together. 🤝💕 We got our bodies moving with gross-motor fun and wagon rides at recess because learning doesn't always happen sitting at a table! 🌞💪 And we had a very special helper join us this week! 💕 The kids had so much fun working and playing with Addison, Mrs. P's daughter! She jumped right in, helped with activities, and brought lots of smiles to our classroom. 🥰 We wrapped up our week with a 5 Senses Tasting Table!👅🍓🍋🥨 We tasted, explored, described, and had fun using our senses to discover something new. ☀️ Splash Into Summer AR Challenge Winners! ☀️ We are so proud of the students who went above and beyond during the AR Summer Reading Challenge! These rockets were recognized with a certificate, a mini book light, and a fun rainbow scratch notepad from the Education Foundation of Martin County!
