JROTC cadets from South Fork High School, Martin County High School, and Jensen Beach High School recently represented the Martin County School District at Congressman Brian Mast’s Annual Service Academy Fitness Assessment.
Competing alongside service academy applicants, our students completed a series of demanding physical assessments led by Army and Marine Corps personnel—demonstrating the focus, discipline, and determination they develop in their JROTC programs.
We’re proud of every cadet who stepped up, pushed themselves, and represented their schools with confidence, resiliency, and pride. Well done, cadets! 👏 🇺🇸

Shannon walked students through the two-year degree pathway, explained program applications and requirements, and highlighted the skills needed to succeed in the field.
Students even got a hands-on reminder about proper brushing and flossing techniques—making learning both fun and practical!
We were especially excited to welcome her back to campus—Shannon is a former MCHS teacher, and as we say:

🔥 Ms. Brandenburg’s British Lit Seniors just raised the bar! After finishing Geoffrey Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales, they designed unique ‘pilgrim’ nutcrackers on the road to Canterbury—straight out of medieval times. Talk about creativity! 👏
