On Sunday, August 25, about 20 Air Force JROTC cadets from MCHS participated in the annual Stuart Beach Bash. Cadet’s help cleaned the park and beach, played sports, and enjoyed BBQ lunch. The primary purpose for this event was for 1st year students to get to know each other, develop teamwork, and serving the local community.

"The BackPack Project is seeking backpacks and all school supplies! If you are able to donate new backpacks, binders, notebooks, or any additional supplies, please drop them off in Mr. LoSardo's room (05-006) or deliver to the front office, to the attention of Mr. LoSardo. If you prefer to make a monetary donation which will be used to buy backpacks and other supplies, you can do so by sending a check to Will’s Way, Inc. 765 Bamboo Dr. Boca Raton FL 33432. In the memo portion of the check, please write “The BackPack Project”. Every dollar received will be spent on school supplies with an accounting provided to the school. If you prefer to make a donation by using a payment platform, you may do so with either Venmo, PayPal or Zeffy. "

This week Martin County Air Force JROTC was busy issuing uniforms, learning military drill while working as a team, and we began the special teams practices. Special teams consist of color guard, drill team, Raiders Fitness Team, Aviation Club, drones, Kitty Hawk Honor Air Society, and Awareness Presentation Team. The cadets completed the week playing dodge ball on Fitness Friday. This weekend the cadets will have the 1st year cadet “Beach Bash” at Stuart Beach hosted by upper class cadets. The cadets will help clean the beach for community service hours, play volleyball, and will have a BBQ.

Tutoring at MCHS begins on Monday, August 26!



🤖CELEBRATING S.T.E.M. SUCCESS🤖
During the off-season, FRC 180 S.P.A.M. Robotics competed in Indiana against the best teams in the world and won!
They earned bragging rights and received a very pretty plaque, which they proudly showed to the School Board during Tuesday night's meeting. They also talked about the incredible camps and demonstrations they hosted over the summer.
Interest in being part of this winning team? Stop by S.P.A.M.'s Open House on Sept. 9 from 6-8 p.m.!

On October 26th, the Martin County Tiger Regiment will be performing the National Anthem prior to the NASCAR Xfinity race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. As part of its performance, Tiger Regiment families and community supporters are being offered a discounted ticket price for this event. A portion of tickets purchased using the link in the attached flyer will be donated back to the MCHS Tiger Regiment.
