Congratulations to two well-deserved OPUS members! Zoey Meixner and Yesica Mateo-Andres made it into the ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) Honor Choir! Over 9,000 students from across the state auditioned and these two amazing singers were selected!! They will rehearse and perform with the selected 145 students at the end of this month in Orlando at our State ACDA Convention!

The decision is based on the latest information from the National Weather Service and local emergency management officials. Wind speeds throughout the morning are projected to exceed limits for school bus operation, making it unsafe for transportation. MCSD continues to work closely with local emergency management officials to track the storm and will provide further information regarding District operations beyond Thursday as it becomes available. MCHS Swimmer, Julia Murphy, is a nominee for TC Palm's Athlete of the Week. A sophomore, Julia has collected seven victories across two meets, winning individual races in the 50 and 100 freestyle while also aiding her team to wins in the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays.
