🎶 What an incredible weekend for our MCSD program! 🌟 On February 1, 2025, our county-wide indoor marching drumline debuted their 2025 show, "The Giving Tree," to an enthusiastic home crowd at MCHS gymnasium. With breathtaking visual techniques and flawless instrumental skills, they earned an impressive second place in a highly competitive class! 🥈 We can’t wait to see where this season takes them! And that’s not all! Huge congratulations to Tiger Regiment member Lily Larsen, who made her debut with Stryke Wynds, an independent indoor winds group featuring talented high school and college students (including MCHS alumni). 🎷🏆 They finished first place! 🇺🇸 Incredible experience for MCHS Air Force JROTC! 🇺🇸 About 36 of our MCHS JROTC students had the honor of visiting the US Navy SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce. They dove into the history of the Navy SEALs, toured impressive ships, and even tackled the challenging outdoor obstacle course! 🏃‍♂️💪 It was an unforgettable day of learning, teamwork, and pushing personal limits! 💪🇺🇸 Honoring Heroes with the Annual Bataan March 🇺🇸💪 On the morning of Sunday, January 26, over 60 cadets from Martin County HS Air Force JROTC, South Fork HS Army JROTC, and Jensen Beach HS Air Force JROTC came together for the annual Bataan March at Halpatiokee Regional Park. 🏞️ These dedicated cadets completed a challenging 14-mile trek to honor the brave World War II veterans who endured the horrific Bataan Death March. The Bataan Death March, which took place during World War II, saw around 70,000 American and Filipino prisoners of war forcibly transferred by the Imperial Japanese Army across the Bataan Peninsula to Camp O'Donnell.
