🦁 Student-led, Student-focused 🦁 This week our incoming 6th graders from Hobe Sound and Seawind Elementary took field trips to Murray. Our future lions spent half the day on campus truly getting an idea of what a day look and feels like in The Den! All students toured the campus, visited a core class and an elective class, and finished the trip by having lunch in the covered area. The best part? The entire experience was facilitated by our Murray Student House Leaders! And that folks, is what it’s all about. Student leadership in action. 🦁💙

Interested in learning about life in The Den? Over the last year and a half, we've been working hard remodeling our school both literally and figuratively. We are excited to showcase academics, clubs, activities, and school community opportunities to you and your family! This event is open to students and families and is designed for students interested in attending Murray Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. 

In addition to our Open House event on Thursday, April 16th, Principal Roth is also hosting a smaller Q&A session along with a school tour on Tuesday, March 24th at 5pm. Interested students and families should plan to arrive at the MMS Front Office. This is a great opportunity to ask more specific questions.

Not zoned for Murray? No worries! We are still accepting school choice applications and we would love the opportunity to share with you what makes us "the best kept secret in Martin County!"

📚 Math Monday 📚 Did you know that we are a Building Thinking Classrooms school? 🔎 AVID Tutorials 🔍 Yesterday, 8th grade AVID students individually identified areas in which they have an academic opportunity for growth. After this targeted reflection process, Ms. Beans then groups students together according to content area. Then each group uses collaborative and clarifying accountable talk sentence stems to correct misconceptions and deepen understanding! #NoLimitsOnlyPossibilities 🦁💙
