Today, Ms. Beans' and Miss Peaks' AVID classes were visited by members of the Jensen Beach High School JROTC program. The students learned about the many opportunities available through JROTC and heard firsthand about the leadership skills, teamwork, responsibility, and personal growth that come with being part of the program.

Our sixth graders had a fantastic day exploring **Jonathan Dickinson State Park** with the Environmental Studies Center!
Students got hands-on with nature through dip netting, discovering aquatic life, and learning about the diverse ecosystems and natural habitats found throughout Florida. They also visited the Kimball Education Center and enjoyed a nature hike, taking in all the sights and sounds of our beautiful Florida environment.
From exploring the water to discovering what lives on land, it was a day full of adventure, discovery, and learning by doing!

Today in Mrs. Garzia's Learning Strategies classes (6th, 7th, and 8th grade), students worked together using inferencing strategies to tackle reading passages. They read questions, underlined key information, identified the type of question being asked, and took turns reading and discussing the text to determine the best answers.
Students who typically prefer to work independently were actively collaborating and supporting one another.
Seeing students include each other, build confidence, and engage in meaningful discussions makes my heart so happy. These are the moments that remind us that learning is about so much more than academics. It's about connection, communication, and belonging. ❤️📚✨
