The first day of school is almost here, and now’s a great time to remind your student about the District’s cell phone and wireless device policy and avoid an unexpected trip to campus to retrieve a confiscated device. 😅
ℹ️ During school hours, cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, and other wireless tech must be off and out of sight.
Here’s what families should know:
📲 Devices that are seen or used during the day will be confiscated.
📲 Only a parent or guardian can pick them up, and only at a time set by school staff.
📲 Repeated offenses constitute insubordination and may result in suspension.
Need to contact your child? Call the school office—we’ll make sure they get the message promptly.

⭐️ Staff Spotlight ⭐️
Recently, Ms. Sahagun also had a wonderful opportunity to spend a week in Salamanca, Spain, participating in an international teacher training program organized by the University of Salamanca. It was a professional development experience where she joined educators from the United States and Brazil to attend workshops and presentations. She learned so much and is super excited to apply all of the new strategies to her own classroom!
Fun fact - she also completed her Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language! 🦁💙

If we don’t need them, you get bonus vacation days. If we do, they become regular school days.
Either way, we’ll give you as much notice as possible.
