December is the ✨SWEETEST✨ month in kindergarten! Students have been learning all about the Gingerbread Man and comparing and contrasting many versions of this famous story. We all loved learning about how families celebrate different holidays like Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa.

🧪🥚 Third Grade Egg-Cellent Engineering!
Our third graders have been hard at work designing and building creative contraptions out of recycled materials to discover the best way to protect an egg from a big drop! From cushioned containers to detailed designs, their imaginations and engineering skills have truly impressed us.

🌟 Designing, Persuading, and Problem-Solving 🌳
Our students just wrapped up an incredible Project-Based Learning experience! 📝
Faced with the challenge of a factory being built on our school field, students used their voices, and their math skills, to make a difference. They wrote persuasive letters to our mayor, designed new plans for a community park, and applied their knowledge of area and perimeter to bring their ideas to life! 📏📐
We’re so proud of their creativity, teamwork, and dedication to making positive change in our community. 💚
Earlier this month, Florida recognized Gifted Education Week (November 3–7, ) a time to celebrate the creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking of gifted learners across our state.
Our gifted students, along with other talented learners in grades 2–5, recently showcased their imagination during our Transformational Art Festival, where they transformed recycled materials into works of art, including musical instruments, fashion designs, sculptures, and kinetic art pieces. 🌎♻️
Their creativity and innovative spirit remind us that acceleration and exploration go hand in hand. We are so proud of their originality and hard work!
