Our 5th grade classes hosted a Women’s History Showcase! Students researched influential women and shared their learning with families through creative presentations as our classrooms turned into living museums.

This project celebrated the many ways women have shaped our world and gave students the opportunity to honor their stories, achievements, and lasting impact. We are so proud of the hard work our students put into this special event! 🌟

Ever wonder what teachers do on early release days?

At Palm City Elementary School, we learn too. Our teachers are lifelong learners who continue to grow so we can best support our students.

During our early release professional learning time, teachers focused on strategies connected to our AVID site goals, including AVID two-column notes and organization. We also explored ways to strengthen oral reading, use reading notebooks to support comprehension, and incorporate IXL for targeted skill practice.

When students head home early, our learning continues so we can bring even stronger instruction back to our classrooms.

We are SO proud of PCE’s Odyssey of the Mind team! 🎭✨
On February 28th, our team competed at Regionals and placed 5th in their division — an incredible accomplishment!
These students dedicated over 50 hours of hard work to come together as a true team. They collaborated to create an original skit, problem-solve under pressure, design and build a set with props, and stretch their creativity in ways that were nothing short of impressive.

Beyond the placement, we are most proud of their teamwork, perseverance, and growth throughout this journey. They supported one another, stayed committed, and represented PCE with confidence and heart.

Way to go, team! 💙💛 👏
