๐CELEBRATING SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKERS๐
The Martin County School District is proud to celebrate our school social service workers in honor of National School Social Work Week!
Our School Social Service Workers are essential members of Team MCSD - they assist children, families, faculty and staff in creating a healthy and positive learning environment for all. They work tirelessly to identify and provide services to students (and their families) who face serious barriers to success, including poverty, disabilities, abuse, addiction and the loss of loved ones. We appreciate their professionalism, compassion and commitment to our students, families and schools!

๐ A GENEROUS GIFT FOR LITTLE LEARNERS๐
Martin County parent Jennifer Baker has generously gifted every kindergarten class in the Martin County School District a copy of "Little Netta's Gift", a book based on a true story about a caring and beautiful little girl named Jeannetta Lacole Robinson and her remarkable act of kindness! Kindergarten students at Pinewood Elementary School enjoyed listening to Dr. Tracey Miller, Assistant Superintendent of Academics, read the story to them as part of their #BlackHistoryMonth activities.
