We are excited to share that The Principal’s Challenge daily practice will be going home starting Tuesday, January 20th. This schoolwide initiative (K–5) is designed to build students’ fluency in both reading and math.
📚 Reading: 13 minutes of reading with or to your child
➕ Math: 2 minutes to complete 5–10 basic math problems
These 15 minutes a day make a powerful difference, and we appreciate everyone’s commitment to supporting learning at home!
We are also looking forward to our Book Bonanza on Thursday, January 22nd. With 200 people registered, it’s sure to be a fantastic night of fun and literacy.

Our first week back from Winter Break was very productive! During our walkthroughs, we observed students collaborating and authentically engaged in their learning.

Estamos muy emocionados de dar la bienvenida a nuestros estudiantes y comenzar un nuevo año lleno de aprendizaje. Nuestro equipo está comprometido a trabajar junto a ustedes—nuestras familias—para asegurarnos de que cada niño crezca académica, social y emocionalmente este año escolar. Ese es nuestro compromiso, y sabemos que esto requiere que todos trabajemos juntos.
Al regresar, ayúdennos a comenzar con fuerza animando a sus hijos a:
Venir listos para aprender—con una actitud positiva y curiosidad para probar cosas nuevas.
Asistir a la escuela todos los días—la asistencia constante es una de las claves más importantes para el éxito.
Llegar a tiempo—estar puntual ayuda a los estudiantes a prepararse para el aprendizaje del día.
Dar lo mejor de sí cada día—el esfuerzo y la perseverancia marcan la diferencia.
Estamos agradecidos por su apoyo en casa—estableciendo rutinas, revisando mochilas, leyendo juntos y manteniéndose en contacto con los maestros. Realmente no podemos hacerlo sin nuestras familias. Si necesitan algo, por favor comuníquense con nosotros. Estamos aquí para ustedes y sus hijos.
