South Fork High School Principal Dr. Tim Aitken recently hosted “Pastries with the Principal,” where parents and community members were invited to come chat and ask questions!
Dr. Aitken talked about his vision for South Fork High School, his philosophy of education and shared celebrations and successes of staff and students.
Parents also got a little show from South Fork High's choir while they enjoyed their pastries!
It is homecoming week at SFHS, so you may see some creative costuming in the mix--can you guess the theme based on the outfits? Answer: “Toy Story- Cowboys vs. Aliens”

“Parent Teacher Conference night is coming up on Wednesday, November 2 from 5-8 p.m. Please access your student’s Google Classroom or Schoology for the teacher you wish to meet with and sign up for a time slot on the form provided. If you have trouble accessing the document, you can email the teacher directly to assist you with an appointment. We look forward to meeting you and partnering in your child’s education.

Dr. Tim Aitken hosted “Pastries with the Principal”, a time where parents and community members were invited to come to hear Dr. Aitkens Vision for South Fork High School and his Philosophy of Education. He shared our celebrations and successes of our staff and students as well as answering any questions the group had for him. Our choral group was also on hand to sing one of their musical pieces.

In partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County, the Martin County School District is proud to announce the revitalization of an important program that will contribute to #MCSDTheRippleEffect and reframe how mental wellness support is delivered to students.
"Character Counts! is not new to the Martin County School District," Superintendent John D. Millay shared during a kickoff event held at the Palm City Chamber of Commerce last week. "When I say we're revitalizing it, we're bringing it front and center."

🍎CELEBRATING EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE🍎
On November 1, 2022, the Martin County School District will host its annual perfect score recognition ceremonies for elementary, middle and high school students. One hundred fifteen (115) students earned a perfect score on one or more statewide assessments during the 2021-2022 school year and will be honored during the ceremonies, which will be held inside the cafeteria at Stuart Middle School.

⚖CELEBRATING EXCELLENCE IN CIVIC EDUCATION⚖
Though the subject has recently increased in prominence at the local, state and national levels, the Martin County School District has traditionally prioritized and promoted Civic education.
Through our many partnerships with community organizations, including the YMCA of The Treasure Coast's Florida YMCA Youth In Government (YiG) program and the Martin County Supervisor of Elections' art program, we have proudly engaged students in their civic responsibility.
This evening, Superintendent John D. Millay and the Martin County School Board recognized the accomplishments of our MCSD YiG students during their State Assembly in the 2021-2022 school year. Congratulations to the following students:
