🚨Update - 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25: The Martin County School District will close all MCSD-operated schools and District offices on Thursday, September 26, 2024, due to Hurricane Helene.

Families are urged to monitor the District's website at www.martinschools.org, social media channels, and the District's automated messaging system for updates. Families and employees wishing to receive text message notifications should text START to 98900.

❤️🐾FEELING GRATEFUL🐾❤️
This morning, South Fork High School received a very generous donation of $20,000 from Edward Jones!
Edward Jones is committed to increasing financial literacy among students. Half of the donation will go towards exactly that--financial calculators for all freshman and sophomore students to assist them in their financial literacy classes.
The other half of the donation will go toward purchasing new clothing racks and storage items for the beloved Bulldog Closet, an on-campus thrift store operated by students, for students.
Thank you, Edward Jones, for your incredible support of our students and their future!

📣 **Good Morning Bulldog Families!** 🐾
We want to keep you in the loop about some upcoming changes to our class structure at South Fork High School. To ensure we maintain efficient operations and stay within our budget, we'll be making a few schedule adjustments starting Tuesday, September 3rd.
**What You Need to Know:**
🔄 **Schedule Adjustments:** Most changes will affect ELA and Reading classes with teachers Mr. Marques, Mrs. Keeler, Mrs. Dugas (Chase), and Ms. Ballard. There may also be some period shifts for other classes to align with best practices for class sizes.
👩🏫 **What to Expect:** Your child might see a change in their ELA or Reading teacher or class period. We’ll be visiting classrooms today to discuss these changes with impacted students.
**Our Commitment to Excellence:**
We understand that change can be challenging, but please rest assured that our dedication to high-quality instruction and a supportive learning environment remains unchanged. These adjustments are aimed at supporting our district’s financial health while continuing to provide an outstanding educational experience.
If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out to me or your student’s counselor.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
With Appreciation,
Jaime Thompson
