JROTC cadets from South Fork High School, Martin County High School, and Jensen Beach High School recently represented the Martin County School District at Congressman Brian Mast’s Annual Service Academy Fitness Assessment.
Competing alongside service academy applicants, our students completed a series of demanding physical assessments led by Army and Marine Corps personnel—demonstrating the focus, discipline, and determination they develop in their JROTC programs.
We’re proud of every cadet who stepped up, pushed themselves, and represented their schools with confidence, resiliency, and pride. Well done, cadets! 👏 🇺🇸

This scholarship is open to Martin County residents attending a Martin County public high school, and is designed for students who have a strong desire to pursue a college or vocational education but may have limited opportunities for traditional academic awards.

This morning, we saw the true heart of #ALLINMartin👊 on full display.
At Elev8Hope, volunteers from across our community, including Superintendent Maine and School Board Member Amy Pritchett, came together to load more than 5,000 Thanksgiving baskets—baskets largely donated by our students and given directly to classmates and families experiencing a moment of need.
Our students showed what it truly means to care for one another. Their generosity and compassion reflect the very best of who we are as a District.
We’re also grateful for the essential work of our school social workers, who ensure these baskets reach the families who need them most, and for Elev8hope Compassion in Action, the founder and vessel that brings this initiative to life each year.
And HUGE congratulations to South Fork High School, which earned the coveted Elev8Hope trophy for the third straight year as the top basket contributor among our high schools.
Today, our students and community reminded us what it means to be unstoppable and show up for one another.
