A huge congratulations is also in order for Bliss Weiler and Kaley McElligot for their outstanding performances, placing 7th and 9th traditionally. "Congratulations to our South Fork High School Army JROTC program which has been awarded the Honor Unit with Distinction for the 2023-2024 school year! An Honor Unit with Distinction (HUD) is one that has demonstrated exceptional performance in all areas of program operation. In order to be awarded this rating, the JROTC program must score at least 95%. The SFHS Army JROTC program received a 98.5% score on the overall evaluation. The Cadet Battalion was expertly led by Cadet Colonel Rylie Siemsen. The Drill Team was expertly led by Cadet Captain Yesenia Alvarez. And the Color Guard Team was expertly led by Cadet Captain Liberty Landeros. Our program earned this honor during the JROTC Program for Accreditation (JPA) as evaluated by the U.S. Army Cadet Command, 6th Brigade, Training & Education Manager, Mr. Anthony Proulx on Thursday, February 15, 2024. This inspection occurs only once every three years."

🏀 **Game Night Victory!** 🌟 South Fork High School's basketball team closed out our home gym in the most epic way possible, securing a 63-51 win over Lake Howell in the Region 2-6A tournament quarterfinal! 🎉 Our boys played with heart and never trailed in the game, showing the strength and determination that has defined our season. Senior Nicholas Chang shared his excitement, reflecting on the incredible journey and achievements of this year's team. "It's exciting to be part of a team that has accomplished so much," he said, looking forward to every chance to play as a blessing. Junior Evan Burgk highlighted the journey, from being doubted after the first game to proving our worth on the court. "This season has been a journey. Everyone counted us out, but we showed we deserved the hype. We've been working towards this for years, playing together since elementary school." Join us in celebrating this momentous win.
