🩺HEALTH UPDATE 🩺 The Florida Department of Health in Martin County (DOH Martin) is currently hosting voluntary Pfizer vaccination clinics throughout the community. DOH Martin encourages interested individuals aged 12 and up to get vaccinated if this recommendation is in alignment with guidance received from their health care provider. Students aged 12-17 must have a parent/legal guardian present with them to receive a vaccination. Good evening parents this is Jay Blavatt principal at SFHS with an invitation to Open House tomorrow night 8/25. Please join us from 6-8 pm with a recorded video message from our administration, then follow your child’s schedule and meet all of their teachers. Our recorded message will also be posted online for those who cannot or chose not to attend. If you are interested in learning about our clubs, sports and leadership opportunities, consider joining us outside in our mall area from 5-5:45. Masks and Hand Sanitizer will be available on campus. Parents, I want to thank you for your continued trust as we navigate the choppy waters of Covid and quarantine protocols. I know that I have made some mistakes with phone calls, communication, icons (that was a big one), but as we are offering grace with our students, I ask the same from you… we truly are acting with the best intentions and doing our best. To learn more about the quarantine process, please check out the MCSD website under “information for quarantine students.” On to the exciting stuff, come join us on Thursday for Volleyball against our rivals, Martin County. Make sure you go to our athletic website to purchase tickets, and get spirit gear for all of our upcoming events. 🍎MARTIN MINUTE WITH MILLAY🍎 Superintendent John D. Millay and Ms. Elizabeth Rumie, ESE Secretary, have an important message for families about report cards and FOCUS Parent Portal accounts! If your child attended school in the Martin County School District last year, they will be bringing home a copy of their final report for the 2020-2021 school year no later than tomorrow afternoon. They will also bring home a copy of instructions for parents/caregivers to access their FOCUS Parent Portal accounts. These accounts allow families to easily keep up with their child's grades, attendance and more! Principal's Call August 15, 2021

Counselors are working with students on their schedule change requests. We appreciate your patience as we work through them. Students may come to Guidance before school, during their lunch or after school to discuss their options. Schedules will continue to be adjusted until August 20th as student concerns and class size protocols are reviewed. We look forward to “seeing” the students!

🍎SPRING ASSESSMENT SCORE REPORTS NOW AVAILABLE🍎 Parents - Score reports for the Spring 2021 state assessments are now available in the FOCUS Parent Portal. Score reports are available for the following subject areas: FSA English Language Arts (ELA), FSA Math, Science Grades 5 & 8, Algebra EOC, Geometry EOC, Civics EOC, Biology EOC and U.S. History (EOC). Please review the attached images to learn how you can access your child's reports.
