South Fork High School Drama presents West Side Story! This musical is about forbidden love and the rivalry between the Jets and the Sharks, two teenage street gangs of different ethnic backgrounds. 📚REAL-WORLD LEARNING HAPPENS HERE📚 Students from Jensen Beach High School, Martin County High School and South Fork High School joined hundreds of other students from throughout the Treasure Coast for the recent Career Connect Conference organized by CareerSource Research Coast. Students were able to connect with local businesses to investigate the amazing opportunities available to them in today's job market. They attended sessions with local business in the healthcare, manufacturing, skilled trades, finance, and hospitality industries. This weekend South Fork High School had the privilege of hosting the District Solo and Small Choir Event for the Florida Vocal Association. A HUGE congratulations goes out to our students who participated in events this weekend, they were absolutely incredible. South Fork Drama presents West Side Story! February 24th, 25th, and 26th at 7 pm and February 26th and 27th at 2 pm. West Side Story, based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, is the love story of Tony and Maria, rival gang members. As these gangs fight for control of a 1950s New York City, Tony and Maria must fight for their love as their friends pull them apart in the chaos. Filled with twists and turns, the story of Maria and Tony is sure to leave you wanting more. Based on a conception of Jerome Robbins and filled with incredible music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics from Stephen Sondheim, this musical is sure to have something for everyone. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Come and see the results of this whirlwind romance for yourself, you will not be disappointed!

SFHS Winterguard had their premiere show competition this past weekend and received first place in their competitive class. They also scored higher than 2 other guards that were in a competitive class above them. Their show about cherishing moments of your life with pictures wowed the judges and they were impressed with their skills and commitment to the program. Their next competition will be Feb 19th at Hialeah Gardens HS.
