To wrap up our week at South Fork we would like to take time out to recognize our magical school counselors during National School Counseling Week. They are truly the individuals that make magic happen. 🪄

📚REAL-WORLD LEARNING HAPPENS HERE📚
Students from Jensen Beach High School, Martin County High School and South Fork High School joined hundreds of other students from throughout the Treasure Coast for the recent Career Connect Conference organized by CareerSource Research Coast.
Students were able to connect with local businesses to investigate the amazing opportunities available to them in today's job market. They attended sessions with local business in the healthcare, manufacturing, skilled trades, finance, and hospitality industries. After lunch, they enjoyed listening to keynote speaker Kyle Greene, the president and founder of Kyle G's Prime Seafood!

Their show about cherishing moments of your life with pictures wowed the judges and they were impressed with their skills and commitment to the program. Their next competition will be Feb 19th at Hialeah Gardens HS.

In December, two students, Kiana Kuschel and Lizzie Vanhoose, who are in Choir and Band respectively organized a food drive through the House of Hope of Martin County. They collected non-perishable items in the choir and band classes and at the winter choir and band concerts. Together, they collected 43 pounds of food providing nearly 36 meals to residents in Martin County in need. The compassion and drive of our students is inspiring. We thank them for their hard work and congratulate them on making a difference in our community.
