Students are allowed to go to the media center to enjoy board games, coloring, arts and crafts, and more when they are finished with lunch. 🚗TRAVELING THE MAINE ROAD🚗 Traveling the MAINE Road to the #1 spot by providing tailored, consistent and meaningful support to each of our schools! 🍎 Superintendent of Schools Michael Maine visited Spectrum Academy and Warfield Elementary School in the morning. In the afternoon, Mr. Maine caught up with Assistant Superintendent of Academics, Mr. Troy LaBarbara, at the Hobe Sound Early Learning Center. 🍎 Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services Lisa Estevez stopped by Jensen Beach Elementary School and Jensen Beach High School. 🍎 Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Julie Sessa visited Hidden Oaks Middle School, Stuart Middle School and ran into Mrs. Estevez at Jensen Beach High School. These site visits are beneficial for several reasons! District leaders are inspired by the creativity, innovation, and passion they witness in the classrooms. Bar Harbor is home to the largest parts of Acadia National Park, including Cadillac Mountain, the highest point within 25 miles of the coastline of the eastern United States. #ALLINMartin👊 #PublicSchoolProud

☀️🌊#MCSDSummerAdventures☀️🌊 Martin County High School student Kate and her brother Luke, a Stuart Middle School student, took a summer trip to the United Kingdom with their family! "We stayed in and explored London and Cambridge in England, and also Glasgow and Edinburgh in Scotland," mom Jacqueline shared. "It was fun to see so many sites and landmarks that have been important throughout world history. We saw Big Ben, the Tower of London, Kensington and Buckingham Palace, and much more. We braved the tube system 🚇 and “mind the gap” each time. We visited the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh and The British Museum in London. There we browsed through many exhibits of scientific, historical, and artistic importance. Kate has just completed the Cambridge Assessment International Education program at MCHS, so visiting the University of Cambridge was especially enriching. Both students also row with Treasure Coast Rowing Club and we watched many rowers in action in Cambridge." #ALLINMartin👊 #PublicSchoolProud

☀️🌊#MCSDSummerAdventures☀️🌊 The Berkley family--Ms. Berkley at Felix A. Williams Elementary, Mr. Berkley at Stuart Middle School and their daughter Ryah, a student at Felix A. Williams Elementary--have had a summer full of exciting educational adventures! "Our family has been on a six-week camping trip across America, studying geography, history, geology, biology and even P.E. when visiting and exploring 11 national parks," the family shared. "Ryah has earned her Junior Ranger badge at Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Glacier National Parks. She has hiked the Zion Narrows, been off-roading in the Utah desert to see petroglyphs and slot canyons and hiked to the Grinnell Glacier in Glacier National Park." As teachers, they encourage all parents to take advantage of the "Every Kid Outdoors" pass, which gives the whole family free admission to federal parks for fourth graders! #ALLINMartin👊 #PublicSchoolProud
