Martin Mentors helping New Teachers
Today, teachers from across the Martin County School District came together at Stuart Middle School to learn and grow as educators!
We had an incredible professional learning session led by our very own Monica Pool & Cassie Mailhot, who shared practical and powerful strategies for creating effective classroom structures. From establishing clear routines and expectations to using timers, small groups, and purposeful check-ins, teachers walked away with tools they can implement right away to support student engagement and success.
It’s inspiring to see educators dedicating their time to sharpening their craft and collaborating with one another — all for the benefit of our students. Thank you, Cassie, for leading such an impactful session and for investing in the continued excellence of our classrooms!

Congratulations to Stuart Middle School's Jordan Claus, who’s in the running once again for TCPalm's Teacher of the Week! Martin County, let's rally and vote for her!
"As a parent, Jordan is the teacher I always want my child to have. As a co-worker, I am in awe of her incredible impact on students every day," says the coworker who nominated her.
