🔬FALLING IN LOVE WITH SCIENCE🔬
How do you reengage after a week dotted with weather-related uncertainty and school closures? For Ms. Allen's Advanced Placement (AP) Biology class at Jensen Beach High School, the answer is simple - review essential concepts through a fun game of speed dating!
Students enjoyed the decorations and playing the part of speed daters as they reviewed lessons with their peers.

👋START WITH HELLO👋
What a fun and inclusive way to start off the day today at Felix A. Williams Elementary!
All week long, students at FAWE and other Martin County School District elementary schools have been participating in Start with Hello Week. It's a prevention program in partnership with Sandy Hook Promise that teaches children and teens how to be more socially inclusive and connected to each other, focusing on three main steps: see someone alone, reach out and help and start with hello.
Today at FAWE, Jensen Beach High School Student Government and Stuart Middle School Junior Honor Society made sure every FAWE child was greeted with a 'hello' or high-five, then they all gathered to enjoy great music from the Jensen Beach High School marching band!
Teachers, staff and students started their day off with dancing and smiles 😁

🤔ENGAGING CRITICAL THINKING🤔
7th-grade classrooms were on 🔥 today at Hidden Oaks Middle School!
Students engaged in their first collegial discussion of the year in English Language Arts.
“Should schools in Florida move to a year-round calendar?” Ask your students for their opinion and text evidence?
Students were also debating various ways scientists gather data and samples from inner 🌍 in Science.
Engagement and critical thinking at their best!
Hidden Oaks is proud to be a Cambridge International school.

📚READING AND SUCCEEDING📚
Congratulations to Harper Burke at Jensen Beach Elementary School for being the first student in Mrs. Boudreau's Kindergarten class to visit the book vending machine!
We can't thank the Education Foundation of Martin County enough for placing the amazing book vending machines in our schools! The machines incentivize our students to read more, and they're just pure fun!
