Our Student Services Team was on the road last week, giving kuddos to SeaWind Elementary and Warfield Elementary School for the welcoming, positive learning environments they create each day through PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports)!
By encouraging kindness, responsibility, and respect, these schools help students feel supported, confident, and ready to learn. Both school teams also keep families connected by sharing PBIS moments and celebrations on social media. 📸

Preparing students for the future means connecting them to real careers, right here on the Treasure Coast.
On Friday, Martin County School District CTE students from South Fork High School, Martin County High School, and Jensen Beach High School took part in a hands-on experience at Hog Technology, an award-winning manufacturer right here in Stuart. Through interactive panels, student-led questions, and an industry tour, students explored manufacturing careers, connected with local leaders, and saw how CTE pathways lead to high-demand jobs that strengthen our local economy.
This impactful experience was made possible by our career education teachers and CTE facilitators, who continue to create meaningful, career-connected learning opportunities for students. We also appreciate School Board Member Christia Li Roberts for joining students and staff to see this work in action!

The champs are here!! Congratulations to Palm City Elementary School for claiming the top spot in this year’s IXL Holiday Hustle, earning the highest average number of ELA and math skills brought to proficiency across the District! 🎉
The Wildcats were awarded the Holiday Hustle trophy, and the top two students from each grade were recognized for their outstanding effort and for helping lead their school to a districtwide victory. 💪
We’re proud of every student who took on the Holiday Hustle. Using Winter Break to practice, grow, and boost learning skills...that’s the kind of drive that sets MCSD apart! 👏💪

School being back in session means more trips to one of Martin County’s most unique treasures, the Environmental Studies Center!
This week, SeaWind Elementary - Hobe Sound, FL, students have learned how to seine and identify the creatures they caught before exploring the animal residents (like Joey the Alligator!!) at the ESC. Hidden Oaks Middle School students joined ESC staff at Jonathan Dickinson State Park, taking learning beyond the classroom and into the natural world around them.
This is A-rated learning in action! Through the ESC, every Martin County School District student through 7th grade takes part in hands-on environmental learning and unforgettable experiences right here at home.

Throughout our centennial year, we honored the people and stories that shape our District. Stories like Asheton McNabb, a VPK educator at Hobe Sound Elementary School and a proud MCSD graduate. Asheton attended Citrus Grove Elementary School, Murray Middle School, and South Fork High School, where she was part of the 2010 volleyball team that made history by winning districts for the first time.
Her connection to MCSD spans generations.
“I am teaching VPK at HSE. My great-grandmother, Virginia Dyer Brock, is a product of MCSD. She graduated from Stuart High School in the 1920’s. She ended her career of 20 years at J.D. Parker Elementary School in the 60’s, and I am continuing that tradition of teaching in MCSD.”
