🎼ALL IN FOR A CAPPELLA🎼 ACA-MAZING! As part of its efforts to promote the arts and opportunities available to students after high school, the Education Foundation of Martin County brought America's oldest underclassman a cappella group - The Yale Spizzwinks(?)- to perform for students at Murray Middle School and Martin County High School! Since 1914, the Spizzwinks(?) have entertained audiences around the world with their unique blend of sweet harmony and tongue-in-cheek humor. 🍎LEAVING A LASTING LEGACY🍎 Last evening, Superintendent John D. Millay and the Martin County School Board celebrated the career of Nicolasa "Nico" Martinez, Home School Liaison at Warfield Elementary School. A 46-year resident of the Village of Indiantown, Ms. Martinez has proudly served the students and families of Warfield Elementary for 32 years. In that time, she's made Warfield her home in every sense of the word - her daughter, Valerie, works alongside her in the front office and six of her grandchildren have attended the school! "Nico is kind-hearted, compassionate and goes above and beyond to make sure all needs are met for our students and families," Principal Crissy Smith shared. "She leaves a legacy of dedication and passion for students, families and the Indiantown community, and will be greatly missed." We wish Ms. Martinez all the best in her retirement and hope she'll continue to share photos with us as she travels the world! #ALLINMartin👊 #PublicSchoolProud

Millay and the Martin County School Board for winning the Florida High School Athletic Association's Class 6A title! 🛠CONSTRUCTING SUCCESS🛠 South Fork High School senior Jesus Miguel-Diego was named the 2021-2022 Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Year last month! Growing up in the Village of Indiantown, Jesus was excited to take advantage of the many CTE opportunities available to students at SFHS. He settled on the Building Construction and HVAC academies and admits his experiences in both programs have made him feel like he might have discovered his future career path. "I never thought I would be in this class or would want to consider this as my major," he shared. "But when I came here, I saw the different things that we can do. 🏀🏆HEART OF A CHAMPION🏆🏀 Martin County High School senior Ryan Davis has enjoyed a memorable four years as a scholar-athlete. He recently penned a goodbye letter as he prepares to begin the next chapter of his life as a student-athlete for Nova Southeastern University. When describing how the Tigers felt after earning the Florida High School Athletic Association Class 6A title earlier this month, Ryan was full of emotion.
