📚CELEBRATING OUR HISTORY📚 As #BlackHistoryMonth continues, we proudly celebrate another trailblazer from Florida, Mary McLeod Bethune. She was an educator, philanthropist and humanitarian who started a private school for Black students in Daytona Beach. That school continued to build and eventually became Bethune-Cookman University. #ALLINMartin 👊

MCSD was one of the first districts in the nation to launch the Centegix Crisis Alert system, putting the ability to immediately call for help in the hands of every staff member in the District. All students and employees are trained in the standard response protocol and how to report suspicious activity.
