"Hollon is a senior in the International Baccalaureate program at SFHS and has participated in NHS, NTHS, NSHS, Green Club, Best Buddies and has volunteered for her church, The Hope Center for Autism, United Way of Martin County- Students United among others," proud mom Jennifer shared. "She will be attending Florida State University in the fall, majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders with the ultimate goal of becoming a child psychiatrist." "Her favorite memories include spending time with her best friends, homecoming court, football games and senior shenanigans," Jennifer continued. "She was voted best hair for senior superlatives and gives shout outs to Mrs. Gorton, Dr. Sutton, Mrs. Baird and Mrs. Green among many others in the MCSD that have supported her during her high school journey." "My journey through high school has been filled with challenges, growth, and unforgettable memories," the senior shared. "One of my favorite experiences was DECA during my 4 years it taught me valuable lessons about entrepreneurship, time management, and perseverance." "As I prepare for the next chapter of my life, I’m excited to major in Computer Science," she continued. "Technology is transforming the world, and as an African American woman in STEM, I want to help shape the future while representing my community. My ultimate goal is to become an AI engineer, using artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems and create innovative solutions. I want to give a huge shoutout to Mrs.Lawrynas, Dean Leon, and Ms.Croy who have supported me along the way, especially those who encouraged my interest in technology and business. And, of course, I couldn’t have done it without my friends, who have been there through every late-night study session, school event, and unforgettable moment." 📢 Leadership Announcement 📢 Superintendent Michael Maine will recommend Mr. Guillermo Orozco as the new Coordinator of Student Services for the Martin County School District during the School Board’s Regular Meeting on March 25, 2025. Mr. Orozco brings a wealth of experience in education and student support. He has served as the Assistant Principal of Curriculum at Hidden Oaks Middle School since July 2020, following five years as the Assistant Principal of Student Services at Martin County High School. Beyond his leadership roles in MCSD, Mr. Orozco has also worked as a Dean of Discipline, an American Government Honors & AP Government teacher, and a school soccer coach, demonstrating his dedication to student success both inside and outside the classroom. A proud Florida Atlantic University graduate, Mr. Orozco holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from FAU. 🎓

From the hundreds of sports games we hauled you and your friends to, the countless themed outfits we purchased, and the many parade floats we helped build, there’s no shortage of memories," parents PJ & Holly Jo Sheltra shared. "And of course, the dresses – so many dresses! Watching you embrace your high school experience with such joy has been a true highlight." "My favorite memory will always be when you won SFHS Homecoming Queen – that was such a special moment," they continued. "And Dad would definitely say that his favorite memories are helping you learn to golf and being there for your matches. You’re already crushing your goals, from earning your Dental Assistant license to getting so close to finishing your AA degree. Keep being the beautiful light that you are! 🏆📚 CONGRATULATIONS HISTORY FAIR WINNERS 🏆📚 Students showcased incredible research and creativity at the History Fair Awards Night on March 6 at South Fork High School Fork High School. 1st Place winners are headed to the State History Fair in Tallahassee this May, while 2nd Place winners have the option to submit their work and attend as well!
