"We are so PROUD of Patrick and all of his accomplishments these last four years," mom Jennifer shared. "Patrick has been apart of MCHS AMAZING Culinary Program- Chef is a great mentor and teacher! He worked hard in the Dual Enrollment program with Indian River State College and will graduate with his AA degree in May, as well as graduating from MCHS! Patrick achieved the rank of Eagle Scout- which demonstrates a commitment to excellence, leadership, and community service. In his down time, Patrick also trains in Judo and received his brown belt- he continues to compete and excel in the sport... Patrick’s future is bright and all of us couldn’t be prouder of all his accomplishments and plans for the future!" 🌟CELEBRATING EXCEPTIONAL LEADERSHIP🌟 Felix A. Williams Elementary Principal Sarah Tuthill and Port Salerno Elementary School Assistant Principal Mr. David Shaffer represented the Martin County School District with pride and excellence at the Florida Department of Education’s School Leadership Recognition Summit! Mrs. Tuthill was honored as a finalist for the 2025 Florida Principal of the Year and MCSD's 2025 Principal of the Year, and Mr. Shaffer was honored as our 2025 Assistant Principal of the Year. Although Mrs. Tuthill did not take home the statewide title, her leadership, heart, and unwavering commitment to students continue to make a lasting impact — and we couldn’t be prouder. Being recognized by the FLDOE is a tremendous honor and a reflection of the excellence they bring to our schools each day. Their passion and dedication for student success inspire us. "Michael currently works as a Service Technician at Starling Buick GMC Stuart," proud mom Lucille shared. "After graduation he plans to continue employment with Starling, and plans to continue the training to become a World Class GM Mechanic. We are super proud of him, and thankful that God gave him such talent! We cannot wait to see what his future entails!" "Sydney has been a dedicated Tigerette since her sophomore year, and she's made a lasting impact as a volunteer at Bessey Creek Elementary School, teaching dance club in her senior year. 🏀MCSD MARCH MADNESS: IXL CHAMPIONS🏀 While the NCAA March Madness Championship is just around the corner, we’re celebrating a different kind of victory—academic excellence! Congratulations to Hobe Sound Elementary School, our MCSD March Madness IXL Champions! The Eagles soared to the top by bringing the most skills to proficiency through IXL. Their final push was impressive, going head-to-head with Palm City Elementary School, with both schools bringing more than 7,000 grade-level skills to proficiency during the last stretch of the challenge!
