🐹FAVORITE CLASS PET🐹 At Hobe Sound Elementary School, students celebrated literacy week ALL MONTH LONG by diving deep into a beloved classic, "The World According to Humphrey" by Betty G. Birney. Last night, families joined in on the fun for an evening all about Humphrey! Humphrey says, “you can learn a lot about life by observing another species.” The students had fun listening to the story, writing about the story, and interacting with the pet stuffed hamster provided to each classroom. Humphrey made lots of friends, had lots of adventures and added joy to Room 26 in the book and each of the classrooms at Hobe Sound! Students at Hobe Sound fell in love with Humphrey and with 12 books in the series, they have a lot more reading to do. Up next, "Friendship According to Humphrey!" #ALLINMartin👊 #CLW2023 #FLCelebratesLiteracy
