Congratulations to the talented winners of the 2024-2025 Kids Tag Art competition!
Hundreds of our fifth graders put their creativity to work in the 7th Annual Kids Tag Art contest, sponsored by Martin County Tax Collector, Ruth Pietruszewski. Using both artistic and critical thinking skills, students designed unique tags that families and community members can purchase as license plates, key fobs, or bike plates.
We're excited to celebrate these winners at the Annual Kids Tag Art Awards on April 2, 2025, in the Martin County School District Board Room! ๐จ๐

Congratulations to CGEโs three Martin County Tag Art winners! ๐ Paige Ellisโs fox with a butterfly ๐ฆ earned the Award of Distinction ๐, Tanner Hoffman's law enforcement theme took home the Behind the Badge Award ๐ฎ, and Zoe Fisherโs manatee design ๐ won the CGE Principal's Award ๐. Each year, 5th graders join this Martin County Tax Collectorโs contest, and their designs become vanity plates with all proceeds supporting district elementary art classrooms. Our STEM Fair Showcase was a night of science, innovation, and discovery!
Hands-on learning, creativity, and exploration were on display as families explored student projects, and enjoyed music with delicious food truck fare and STEM activities from our amazing community partners.
Earlier in the day, judges evaluated elementary projects, and today, it's time for our middle and high school students to take the stage! They'll present their work to judges, showcasing their knowledge and passion for STEM. Winners will be celebrated on February 19!

Today is the Day! Our Diamondback Fun Run has officially begun. The next few days are going to be filled with fun as we embark on a QUEST to raise $40,000 for professional learning and teacher resources at Citrus Grove Elementary! All students will participate in the fun through daily videos, daily special events, and school incentives.
