Their generous support in the beautification of our campus has truly transformed our space. The front walkway and street entrance are now adorned with a beautiful variety of new plants, making our school look as vibrant on the outside as we feel on the inside. This honor places our school among the top 20% of elementary schools statewide based on school grade calculation scores. 🐄LEARNING WITH LIVESTOCK🐄 Martin County School District High School Biology teachers, along with St. Lucie County teachers, recently attended the Cash Cow Workshop and Field Trip to a dairy farm hosted by @floridamilk. From the lab to the dairy farm, our teachers deepened their knowledge of dairy herd genetics to bring real-world science back to the classroom! 📆MAKEUP DAY INFORMATION📆 Martin County School District students will NOT be required to make up the days missed due to the recent hurricanes. Fortunately, after a thorough review of the District’s instructional calendar, students will still meet state requirements and complete the academic year without the need to use make-up days at this time. We are committed to supporting the community with ongoing recovery efforts, including through the Education Foundation of Martin County’s relief fund for employees and families, providing free meals for students, and offering credit for last week’s Extended Day services. 🤠📚🎉 EFMC BOOK BONANZA AT CGE 🎉📚🤠 REGISTER TODAY to attend the upcoming @EdFoundationMC Book Bonanza at Citrus Grove Elementary scheduled for Wednesday, November 6th, from 5:30 - 7:30 PM. This is a FREE event for families with children in Pre-K through 5th grade. Attendance is limited to the first 200 registered guests and all guests will enjoy a free barbecue dinner, fun literacy activities, book giveaways, and the opportunity to enroll in the New Worlds Reading Initiative.
