The CGE morning and afternoon carlines are off to a smooth start, thanks in part to our dedicated Safety Patrols. The patrol teammates, led by Mrs. Reinhart and Ms. Danner, keep our arrival and dismissal times safe as well as monitor hallways and the bus loop. They get up early to be at school before 7 AM and stay late, which means we are thankful for their families as well! #WeareCitrus

Picture Day is coming this Friday, August 25th. To access digital proofs of Focused On Forever fall portraits, families must opt-in by visiting www.focusedonforever.com/notify. You do not need to opt-in if you already receive texts and emails for CGE pictures. Students should wear their favorite school-appropriate outfit for this photograph. The picture will be included in the CGE yearbook for those students who have provided permission as part of the back-to-school forms on the Focus Parent Portal.

CGE Curriculum Nights will be this week in teacher classrooms. Parents of 1st and 2nd graders should plan to attend this Wednesday, August 23rd. Presentations for 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade parents will be on Thursday, August 24th. Both events will be from 5:00 - 6:30 PM. Visitors will go directly to the classroom for a chance to learn about the curriculum, classroom procedures, communication, and goals, and to ask questions. (Parents/guardians only, please. )

🍽️SCHOOL LUNCH INFO🍽️ The Martin County School District will cover the costs of meals for all students for the first two days of school (August 10th and 11th) for the schools NOT listed in the photos. After August 11, the regular price for breakfast for all students is $1.50. Lunch for grades K-5 is $1.85, and for grades 6-12 is $2.10. The District will cover the cost of meals for students who apply and qualify for reduced-price meals. All students attending the school sites participating in the Community Eligibility Provisions will receive free breakfasts and lunches with no income restrictions.
