The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is warning families about fake and counterfeit squishy toys that may pose safety risks to children.
As a precaution, the Martin County School District will not provide squishy toys as classroom incentives, PBIS rewards or sensory items.
Families are encouraged to be aware of the squishy toys their children use and to follow CPSC guidance for identifying potentially unsafe products. ๐ Learn more here: https://www.cpsc.gov/Newsroom/News-Releases/2026/Consumer-Safety-Alert-CPSC-Warns-Consumers-About-Fake-and-Counterfeit-Squishy-Toys-Reiterates-Warning-About-Serious-Burn-Hazards

Callers attempting to reach a District school or department may occasionally be routed to a different location.
Calls are being received; however, if you reach a site other than the one you intended to contact, please press 0 to reach the front office and request a transfer to the correct school or department.
While we work with our service provider to resolve the issue, families and community members may also use the staff directory on their school's website to contact employees or departments via email, or submit an inquiry through Onflo.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to restore normal service. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Dear AMS 6th Grade Families,
We are excited to welcome our incoming 6th grade students to 6th Grade Orientation on Friday, August 7, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM!
During orientation, students will:
Follow the same transportation routine they will use during the school year.
Meet their teachers and classmates.
Walk through their daily schedule.
Tour the campus and become familiar with key locations.
Experience a preview of a typical day at AMS.
Lunch Information: Students will have lunch on campus. Food and Nutrition Services will provide pizza, and AMS will provide water, chips, and cookies. If your child has dietary restrictions or prefers a different option, they are welcome to bring their own lunch. Students may also bring a water bottle or hydration drink in a sealed container.
We look forward to spending the day with our newest Stallions and helping them get ready for a successful start to the school year! Please make sure your student knows how they are going home on August 7th.
Thank you so much,
Principal Pallaria
