๐ถCELEBRATING MUSICAL EXCELLENCE๐ถ
Talented students from all Martin County School District middle and high school bands participated in the Annual Indian River State College Honor Band and Orchestra Festival this past weekend!
As the largest school outreach event in the region for secondary music students, the festival brings together exceptional young musicians from the Treasure Coast and beyond. Students were nominated by their schoolโs music directors, with the finalists selected by IRSC performing arts leaders.

๐CELEBRATE LITERACY WEEK๐
Celebrate Literacy Week, Florida! is almost here! From January 27-31, schools across the Martin County School District will bring this yearโs theme to life: โBuilding Literacy: Constructing the Foundation for Success.โ
From schoolwide read-aloud sessions and family literacy nights to transforming media centers and writing their own stories for others to read, our schools have something planned for every learner!
๐ The School Board approved a proclamation in partnership with Martin Reads, encouraging everyone to take action and support literacy in our community. Volunteer to read at your local school!
