AMS Families,
We are excited to share that Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School has once again earned a B school grade from the state of Florida, marking our second consecutive year as a B-rated school! This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our students, staff, families, and community. Together, we have continued the progress that has moved AMS from a C-rated school to a strong and stable B-rated school over the past two years. While we are proud of this accomplishment, we know our journey does not end here. At AMS, we are not starting over; we are building on what we have already put in place. The systems, supports, and high expectations established over the last two years have created a strong foundation for success. As we prepare for the upcoming school year, our focus is clear:
1. Building Stronger Systems โ ensuring students receive the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.
2. Building Consistency โ delivering high-quality instruction and maintaining high expectations in every classroom, every day.
3. Achieving Results โ helping every student grow academically, socially, and emotionally while preparing them for future success.
Our 2026-2027 theme is Built to Achieve: One Team. One Mission. Every Student. Every Day. This reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and our belief in what our students can accomplish. Thank you for your partnership, encouragement, and support throughout the year. Student success is only possible when schools and families work together, and we are grateful to be part of a community that believes in our children and in the future of Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School. We look forward to welcoming our students back soon and continuing the important work of building an even stronger AMS together.
With pride and appreciation,
Your Principal
