Constitution Week officially begins on September 17, but Martin County School District students are already getting a head start!
Further highlighting the importance of this annual observance, the Martin County School Board approved the 2026 Constitution Week Proclamation at Tuesday night's meeting, developed with Ms. Rae Scimeca and the Halpatiokee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
As we recognize the 239th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution, students across the District will spend the week learning about the document that continues to shape our nation and protect our freedoms.

Welcome-Martin County School District students! Today was filled with **learning, exploring, discovering, and growing**! 💙 Our students got to meet our newest little friend, **Joey 15**, our tiny alligator! 🐊
Our **7th graders** headed out on the boat to explore the Indian River Lagoon, our **3rd graders** got hands-on with seining, and our **4th graders** took on the **Mangrove Mamba**! 🌱🦀
So many smiles, so much discovery, and SO much learning by doing! **The ESC is the place to be!** 💙🌎
🐊💙 Just in time for our Martin County School District students to start the new school year… Joey 15 has arrived! 🎉
