Congratulations to RJ Dupree for being named a cursive contest winner! ✍️🐟 Also recognized was our FAWE Math Olympics team for bringing home the district championship for the SECOND year in a row! 🏆➕ Our amazing students continue to make waves with their hard work and problem-solving skills! Finally, congratulations to our amazing Odyssey of the Mind team who did a fantastic job at regionals and recently competed at the state level representing both FAWE and MCSD with creativity, teamwork, and Sailfish pride! 🌟 We are so proud of all of these outstanding students for the way they continue to shine in and out of the classroom. Music class has been glowing at FAWE as students enjoy end-of-the-year Music Glow Parties! ✨🎶
Some classes have already lit up Mrs. Dougherty's music room with glowing games, neon fun, and musical challenges, while other classes still have their bright celebrations coming later this week!
These glow-tastic parties are more than just fun - students are reviewing rhythms, musical terminology, note reading, dynamics, and favorite lessons from throughout the year while shining bright in the process. 💡🎵 We love seeing our students end the school year on such a glowing high note! 🕶️🌟 BIG shout-out to our magnificent music teacher, Mrs. Dougherty, for making these glow parties something students look forward to each year! 🌟 Our 4th grade "dug" into Florida history today at the Children’s Museum!
🔍Our students stepped back in time to explore the incredible local history of our state. They learned about the Ais tribe and discovered the mysteries of the Lost Spanish Fleet of 1715. ⚓️ 💰The best part? Students got hands-on by making pottery and necklaces, much like the ancient Ais Indians did! 🏺📿

Last night was pure magic (and a whole lot of fun)! Our FAWE students lit up the stage with recorder and vocal performances at a benefit concert sponsored by the Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce. 🎤🎶 In addition, many of our talented FAWE artists had their work on display, turning our local mall into a stunning art gallery bursting with color. Creativity was everywhere you looked!
Huge shoutout to our rockstar music and art teachers, Colleen Dougherty and Laura Pryor, for bringing out the very best in our students. We’re so grateful to the Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce for hosting such an incredible event that helps celebrate and financially support art and music programs in our community.
