🩷🐟 PINK OUT SUCCESS! 🐟🩷 Our Sailfish community showed up in a BIG way last Friday! 💗 Between the pink shirts, school spirit, and generous hearts, our annual PINK OUT raised $334.64 for the JBHS Cradle Cancer Foundation! 🎗️ We are so proud of our Sailfish for coming together to support such a meaningful cause. Every dollar represents a little more hope, a little more support, and a whole lot of Sailfish spirit! A HUGE thank you to our students, families, and staff who helped make this fundraiser a success. 🧠➕ First graders put their thinking on display during a Building Thinking Classrooms activity as they reviewed addition facts!

Working collaboratively at vertical whiteboards, students used AVID strategies to communicate their thinking, problem-solve together, and support one another in reaching the correct answers.

We love seeing our Sailfish scholars building confidence, collaboration, and critical thinking skills every day!

This month, we’re continuing our annual drive "Socktober" where we will be collecting new socks, undershirts, and underwear to support FAWE students in need. These simple everyday essentials offer more than just a basic need and comfort - they help a child feel cared for, confident, and ready to take on their day. 🧦

Let’s come together as a FAWE Family to make sure our students have what they need to enjoy each day as fully as they possibly can. Every donation, big or small, is helpful and a beautiful reminder that our FAWE family always goes above and beyond to look out for one another. 💙💚

🍝🎉 Now THAT was a BINGO-tastic night! 🎉🍝 More than 200 people came out for our Spaghetti Dinner & Bingo Family Night, and we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout! Full bellies, big smiles, lots of laughs, and plenty of BINGO fun made for a night full of happy memories. 💙💚 A PASTA-tively HUGE thank you to our amazing FAWE PTA for making this special evening possible and bringing our school family together! ❤️ And a delicious shoutout to Giuseppe’s and Conchy Joe’s for their generous food donations. 🌊💚 Make Waves Together Wednesday! 💚🌊 Today at FAWE, we continued our Start With Hello week by making waves together! Our 3rd–5th graders partnered with buddy classes in VPK–2nd grade to read, play, create, and spend some time getting to know one another. From books and games to leaf rubbings and other fun activities, every group found their own unique way to connect.
