🎣🔥 Kindergarten Adventure Time! 🔥🎣

Our Sailfish Kindergarteners had an amazing time exploring the world of fishing and camping in our PLAYS Lab. From “casting” their lines to building cozy campsite setups, our little explorers were busy learning through play, imagination, and hands‑on discovery. 🏕️🐟

A huge thank you to the Education Foundation of Martin County for providing this incredible PLAYS Lab experience. Your support helps bring joyful, purposeful learning to life for our youngest students, and we are so grateful! 💙
Seeing our kinders problem‑solve, collaborate, and explore like true adventurers is what learning at FAWE is all about! 🌟

🌟 Kindergarten Engineers at Work! 🏗️✨

Our Felix A. Williams kindergarteners had an amazing time in the PLAYS Lab as they explored a hands-on construction challenge!

Students worked together to plan, build, and problem‑solve just like real professionals in the field. We talked about the important jobs that make construction possible, including electricians, project managers, and planners, and our young learners stepped right into those roles with teamwork and creativity.

From drawing blueprints to collaborating on structures, these little builders showed big imagination and even bigger perseverance. We’re so proud of how they communicated, shared ideas, and brought their designs to life!

🔧👷‍♀️ Future creators, innovators, and community builders- right here at FAWE! 💙💛

🎧✨ Silent Disco Success! ✨🎧

Our Related Arts Team and PBIS Team knocked it out of the park today with the most incredible Silent Disco! From start to finish, the energy was amazing. Our students were absolute superstars—dancing their hearts out, trying new things, and showing off all the positive behavior that makes events like this possible.

It wasn’t just the kids having fun, though… our teachers were right there on the dance floor, too! 😄💃🕺 Seeing everyone (students and staff alike!) smiling, moving, and making memories together made the day truly special.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped plan, set up, and support this event. What a joyful reminder of how strong and fun our school community is! 💙

🎉VOTE NOW!🎉

Join us in celebrating Felix A. Williams Elementary’s Mrs. Colleen Dougherty, who was nominated at this week’s TCPalm Teacher of the Week! 🎉💙💚

As the music teacher at FAWE, Mrs. Dougherty instills a passion for music and performing in her students. Here’s what her nominator shared: "Mrs. Daughterty is inspiring our children to play instruments, sing and enjoy the music. Her entire family is so musical and encouraging to try new things in life and experiment with children’s many talents. My oldest son loved to play the recorder at Felix A. Williams Elementary. Now he is in seventh grade and he joined band at SMS and was playing trumpet for two years. We appreciate all our teachers do for their students!"

➡️ Vote for her today and every day through Friday, February 20, at noon: bit.ly/4rnct1g

🌟 Out‑of‑This‑World Learning at FAWE! 🌟

Today our fifth graders had an amazing opportunity to explore the portable planetarium brought to us by the Cox Science Center & Aquarium! 🚀✨

The planetarium completely transformed our media center into a dome of stars, constellations, and cosmic wonders. Every 5th grade class got to step inside, look up, and experience an immersive journey through space. 🌌
A huge thank you to the Cox Science Center for bringing this incredible experience to our students. Their curiosity was glowing brighter than the stars! 💫
