📢 Important Reminder: School IDs are mandatory and must be worn at all times while on campus. Getting your ID before school starts will help ensure a smooth first week back! Your first ID and lanyard are free.
If your student is unable to attend on their scheduled day, they will receive their ID during the first week of school.

This morning, the Florida Department of Education released the FY26 School Grades, and I am incredibly proud to share that Hidden Oaks Middle School has once again earned and maintained an A School Rating!
Even more exciting, HOMS improved by an impressive 42 points, increasing from 618 to 660 total points—our highest point total since 2012—while earning 73% of all possible points.
Our scholars and staff achieved outstanding gains across multiple accountability areas:
✅ ELA Achievement: 77% (+9%) – Highest since 2018
✅ ELA Learning Gains: 71% (+11%) – Highest since 2013
✅ ELA Lowest 25% Gains: 64% (+15%) – Highest since 2013
✅ Mathematics Achievement: 80% (+1%) – Highest since 2022
✅ Mathematics Lowest 25% Gains: 61% (+4%) – Highest since 2019
✅ Civics Achievement: 91% (+1%)
✅ Middle School Acceleration: 87% (+4%)
These accomplishments are not the result of a single day, week, or month. They are the product of the relentless dedication of our scholars, the unwavering commitment of our incredible teachers and staff, and the continued support of our families and community partners.

🦈🚧 Summer Projects Continue at Hidden Oaks Middle School! 🚧🦈
The transformation continues at HOMS! Today, crews got started on another exciting project—our parking lot and bus loop renovation. As we continue investing in our campus, improving the curb appeal of our school is a priority, and a freshly updated parking and drop-off area will make a tremendous difference for our students, staff, families, and community.
These upgrades are all part of our commitment to creating a welcoming environment that reflects the pride we have in Hidden Oaks Middle School. We can't wait to see the finished product and the positive impact it will have on everyone who visits our campus.

This summer is already off to a busy and exciting start at Hidden Oaks Middle School! 💙
We’re thrilled to share that the original gym floor has officially been removed, and today the brand-new wood flooring was delivered! 🏀✨ Now the transformation of our beloved Shark Tank is truly underway.
From our daily PE classes to our competitive athletic teams and even our community events, the gym is one of the most active and important spaces on campus. We cannot wait to see the finished product just in time for the new school year!
It’s going to be an incredible upgrade for our students, staff, and community—and we are beyond excited to bring fresh energy and pride into the Shark Tank.

Missed the recent free ECG screening hosted at South Fork High School? No worries!
Remember, beginning July 1, 2026, Florida law will require ECG screenings for incoming ninth-grade student athletes and any new student athletes. If you were unable to attend the event, please know that more screening opportunities will be scheduled throughout the school year.
Need an ECG sooner? An option is available through the St. Lucie Health Department (see flyer for details).
