This new build-your-own option adds a fresh twist to our cafeteria lineup, giving students and staff more ways to customize their meals. Fresh Eats is part of our ongoing commitment to level up the lunch experience with quality ingredients and nutritious choices that help fuel learning and student success.
Following a successful debut at Martin County High School, our Sharks will be the second enjoy Fresh Eats on campus as our Food and Nutrition Services team continues to raise the bar for school meals across the District!

School being back in session means more trips to one of Martin County’s most unique treasures, the Environmental Studies Center!
This week, SeaWind Elementary - Hobe Sound, FL, students have learned how to seine and identify the creatures they caught before exploring the animal residents (like Joey the Alligator!!) at the ESC. Hidden Oaks Middle School students joined ESC staff at Jonathan Dickinson State Park, taking learning beyond the classroom and into the natural world around them.
This is A-rated learning in action! Through the ESC, every Martin County School District student through 7th grade takes part in hands-on environmental learning and unforgettable experiences right here at home.

In 2025, the Martin County School District celebrated a moment of statewide recognition when Hidden Oaks Middle School's Ms. Silvia Pacheco was named one of just four educators in Florida to receive the Governor’s Hispanic Heritage Month Excellence in Education Award.
Honored at the Florida Governor’s Mansion, Ms. Pacheco was awarded for her meaningful impact in the classroom and her dedication to helping students understand and celebrate the rich history and contributions of Hispanic culture.

✅ Mrs. Ceballos, our 6th-grade school counselor, received funding to create a Counselor Corner.
✅ Ms. Davis was awarded a grant to introduce Virtual Reality Headsets, opening the door to incredible virtual field trips and learning experiences for all our scholars!
We are beyond thankful to Mrs. Rhodes and the Education Foundation for making these opportunities possible. Our staff and students in the Shark Tank are thrilled and ready to dive in! 🦈💙
