๐Ÿ”ฅ WHAT. A. WIN. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Our Sharks showed exactly what it means to respond to adversity tonight. Trailing for three quarters, our players never quit, stayed locked in, and continued to work hard together. That commitment paid off as they pulled away late for a 49โ€“35 victory over Anderson Middle School! Now itโ€™s on to the next challenge. The Sharks will face Murray Middle School in the championship game on Monday in the Shark Tank, with a chance to bring home back-to-back championships! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ† It was incredible to witness the heart, drive, resilience, and teamwork displayed by this group tonight. So proud of how these players competed for each other and represented what it means to be a Shark! ๐Ÿฆˆ๐Ÿ’™ #SharkStrong #TeamOverEverything #ChampionshipBound #FinishTheFight

๐ŸŒŸ Classroom Spotlight! ๐ŸŒŸ

Today we had the pleasure of visiting two of our fantastic Science teachers, Ms. McNeill and Mrs. Cogliati, and we couldnโ€™t be more proud of the engaging learning happening in their classrooms!

Both teachers kicked off their lessons with a focused review to reinforce prior learning, then smoothly transitioned into the dayโ€™s new content. Their use of interactive notebooks was especially impressiveโ€”each with their own unique and effective style:
๐Ÿ”น Ms. McNeill guided students through vocabulary exploration, helping them break down key terms with definitions and real-world examples.
๐Ÿ”น Mrs. Cogliati used visual models of the scientific table, breaking it into sections so students could dive deeper into the important factors within each part.

It's inspiring to see such thoughtful planning and student-centered instruction happening in our science classrooms.

Way to go, Sharks! ๐Ÿฆˆ๐Ÿ’™

This morning was one of those moments that remind me just how incredible the talent is here at Hidden Oaks Middle School. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿฆˆ

One of our amazing Shark Scholars greeted me in Student Services with her own graffiti-style drawing of our Sharksโ€”and it absolutely made my day! The creativity, pride, and skill our scholars show never cease to amaze me.

I love being able to showcase their work, and Iโ€™m beyond impressed with her artistic talent. I canโ€™t wait to hang this masterpiece in my office for everyone to see!

Proud principal moment. ๐ŸŽจโœจ
